We visited the museum on Sept. 29th with friends. Our tour guide was excellent. She has really done her homework about Liberace and every item in the museum. And, you can tell she really loves her job. Well worth the time and effort. Also, glad to see that it is a non-profit exhibit....

We went to the museum even though my better half was reluctant (not a fan). I thought this would be an interesting attraction. He actually enjoyed seeing all of the jewelry, costumes, pianos and cars. It is also quite educational. Liberace must have been a very kind, gracious individual.

The non-profit Museum supports the work of The Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts which funds scholarships for the arts.

Admission is $15 for adults.

The web site says that if you arrive by taxi or bus that you can show your receipt or transfer ticket at the register desk for $2.00 off the adult ticket price.

Going to Las Vegas my first choice was not to go here-
I am glad our friends wanted to go and we tagged along.
The free shuttle from the Bellagio was great- it dropped us off after at the other end of the strip and we got to see part of the area we might have missed.

The museum is located far from the main attractions- but you should venture away for a wonderful distraction from all the gambling and crowds. The people who ran the musuem were very informative and sweet. I loved the picture of Liberace with his five dogs! "I finally saw his brother George and many other family members.

The collection of pianos was astounding- the cars too transported me back to when he was in his hay-day full of flare. A great way to learn more about a fine american icon. His awards and acolades were numerous and impressive- as was is outlandish taste in home decor.

Slow down and find this hidden gem when you come to town.

My g/f and I just loved it. We took the free shuttle from the Excallibur and had a great time. The collection of pianos was amazing. I think I took more pictures at this museum than our entire trip. You have to see the collection of his costumes too. We have a great time!
