“Great food and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Celebrating a birthday at Carnevino was great! The food was amazing and so was the atmosphere and service. The place is great for large groups as the restaurant is very noisy. I would definately go back.

“Expensive mistake”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

When the promise is for the Best, most aged beef in America in one of Batalli's signature restaurants, the expectation is high. When this promise is further personally underwriten by celebrity iron chef Batalli and his hand chosen Chef, what could go wrong? Unfortunately everything. The restaurant in the Palazzo is loud - blaring acid rock (really?). The steaks we ordered 230+ days aged and over $100 each, were sent back twice as they were stone cold and literally raw. The server was apologetic and said the manager would come...the manager never did. The plates used to serve the steak were so small and cheap that the steak cut and plated by one of the supervisors literally was grazing the table cloth (and she did not clean it up). The vegetables were brought out (at $12+ each) without serving ware or plates and by the time these arrived they were also stone cold. What a huge dissapointment - never ever again will we go to a Batalli signature restaurant - to have to pay through one's nose for such quality or lack of it is really a disgrace.

“this is getting predictable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

once again, with friends, stayed on the strip, went to the restaurant to pay homage to the celebrity chef. me and the mrs have been to Mario's places in NYC with mixed results. in vegas, the boys wanted to go here..so, we did. Steak was good quality, but poorly cooked (medium rare came out almost blue). fried eggplant with ricotta (tiny little white blotch they promised was ricotta ...had to take their word because it had no taste). To top it off, diners must suffer through music that is supposedly off of Mario's ipod playlist. Gimme a break. If you want a steak in Vegas, go to the Palm in Caesars or even Prime in Bellagio or ...for a real Vegas treat, try the steakhouse at Binion's in the old Vegas.

“Decent but costly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

A very reasonable steak, but ludicrously expensive: not even the best steak we ate in Vegas, at $144 for two for the meat alone. Nice enough; not special enough.

We thought we would try a nice streak house and this place was exceptional. The menu is a little small but everything on the menu has been picked for a reason and is delicious.
If you dare try the porterhouse for 2. We had it and it was amazing but such a big serve!!!
Would return here on my next trip to Vegas
