“Massive, Just So Big”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

It's so big you have to find something you'll like.

Not everything is fantastic, but there are some really good choices.

I think they could have their selection and just focus on the best dishes and it'd be one of the best in Las Vegas.

As it stands, it's the biggest, but probably not in the top ten for quality.

“Stay away . . .”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2014

I've eaten in a lot of places, from high end in France, to roadside diners in middle America and Jersey. But this place seriously has the worst food I've had in ages. Oh, to be sure there is a huge selection, but a lot of the hot food was cold, every bit of fish was not just overcooked, but terribly overcooked. You couldn't coax a piece of crabmeat of the shell if you had pliers. Many of the Asian items which looked really good had really off-tastes. It was hard to get my water glass refilled and on and on and on.

For $35 it was a huge disappointment . . .

Overall good buffet and plenty of choices. Food was fresh and tasty and a lot of choices from meats to seafood.

“Great Buffet! ”

Loved the food selection and the taste of all the food! Only thing I didn't really like was the desserts. Poor selection and quality

“Quality has declined”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014

Went to Penn and Teller and had a very long time to kill before the show. Overall The Rio is showing its age and the Carnival World Buffet is the same too. It's huge. There are a ton of food options. The food didn't seem fresh or good. If you check in on Foursquare there is a $5 off coupon but there are a lot of other places where you could spend $30 and get a really good dinner. Had been there 8 or 9 years ago and the quality was much better.
