“Great stay for young family in Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

My family and I stayed at the Trump for 6 nights from Aug 19 to Aug 25. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome. They gave the kids free goody bags with sunglasses, colouring and puzzle sheets, crayons and squidgy ball. The room was excellent with view of the strip across to TI and Mirage. The whirlpool bath was really good in a huge bathroom that incl separate shower. There was a free shuttle to Caesars Palace and Wynn hotels so you are right in the centre of things. The pool, whilst basic in nature was big enough and was served by a nice pool bar called H2eau. Yes there is a train that sounds its horn during the day and night but this did not disturb us. All in all a very memorable stay and would book to stay here again.

Having been to Las Vegas several times and always staying "on the strip" at 4-5 star hotels, I was curious to see if I would enjoy staying at a hotel just off the beaten track. Well, first let me say that this hotel is SO close to the strip that its location just off the strip really is inconsequential to the "Vegas strip" experience. In fact, I would argue that you get the best of both worlds because the Trump is extremely close to the strip, but far enough away that you can enjoy a luxurious and relaxing experience amidst all of the Vegas hustle and bustle.

I traveled with my fiance and arrived at the hotel around 1am. The lobby smelled beautiful (like fresh flowers) and was aesthetically beautiful: marble floors, gold finishes, fresh plants/greenery- just gorgeous. It was great to walk into a Vegas hotel lobby that did NOT smell like cigarette smoke and where we heard no slot machine racket. Check in was quick and we were upgraded from a studio room to a 1 bedroom suite. Bonus! The room was massive (the bathroom was nearly as large as the bedroom) and super quiet. We had a "city" view that overlooked the north strip and the desert mountains. Amazing.

We ate in the hotel restaurant once - prices are reasonable considering the portions are massive. Food was good, nothing to fault. Used the pool area one afternoon. Very quiet and chill compared to many Vegas hotels I have stayed in (ie: Mandalay Bay beach).

We stayed at the TRUMP for four nights and I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Vegas the wants an upscale, luxurious experience. It is a sanctuary away from the bustle of the Las Vegas strip and definitely worth the 5 minute walk from Las Vegas Blvd.

Room Tip: Choose a high floor for an amazing view of Las Vegas.

This hotel made it one of the best vacations I've ever been on. We stayed in the one-bedroom corner suite. It was really big, and had two full bathrooms which made getting ready for the Vegas night-life very easy for four girls. The room was immaculate, and the staff was super friendly. The iPod dock in the bedroom was not working and they had a new one sent up in less than ten minutes. The pool area was gorgeous and offered plenty of space to lounge. We did not eat at any of the restaurants. It's not located on the Strip but it's literally right next to it. About a 3 minute walk. It's also right behind the mall which was very convenient. We only had to cross the street to get things like liquor and snacks for the room. I will definitely be back here again. Two thumbs up.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and great for large groups.

What else can you say but this place is what you could only describe as high end, the room was decorated beautifully, plenty of space, great view of the strip, jacuzzi bath, tv in the bathroom mirror, i could continue!

The service we received was excellent, free valet parking was awesome and we found the location fine, free shuttle bus to Caesers Palace if required but we walked it without a problem. This was a lovely change of pace from staying at the MGM Grand earlier in the week, both fantastic hotels but in different ways.

We picked this hotel because of that - no smoking or casino. Its nice to come back and relax without a mob of people playing penny slots AND actually being able to see daylight from the many windows. We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Great staff, room and rates. Overall wonderful experience!!

I stayed here for about 2 weeks. Nice enough hotel. It does lack character though. Feels a little a little like a cookie cutter property. However...One morning I heard the sound of someone running a key card through my key card slot and try to open the door which resulted in a loud "THUD" from the smack of the latch lock. I peered out the peep hole immediately and saw a fat Hispanic maid barging into the room next to me. She entered and was out in 20 seconds. Obviously trolling rooms for things to steal. I've seen this in Vegas before. Well, when I went to pack my stuff a few days later, upon opening the closet I noticed that by brand spankin' new $2500 Prada Jacket was missing. I was tired and was already late for my flight so I didn't have time to deal with it and haven't gotten around to writing this review until about 6 months later. After losing $30,000+ at the table in that time period it was just the icing on an atrocious cake.

What makes this hotel different from the rest of Las Vegas hotels:
All rooms are spacious suites
No drunks or gamblers
Quiet and relaxing
Super friendly service
Just across the street from the fashion mall, nice location afew steps from the strip
No casino!
Well comes small pets!

Only negative: when the train passes through las Vegas it beys very noisy.

Room Tip: A nice, quiet and luxurious family and couples oriented hotel.
