“Comes with jacuzzi tub!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

We stayed in a studio city view and their description was soaking tub but it's actually a jetted tub! Ah... it was good soaking in that tub :-)

City view was nice. we saw a freight train come in. They have some small air vents in the windows. One didn't close completely but the hotel staff took care of it promptly. Because of the vents, a little noise comes in through them but it's not really noticeable.

The furnishings are luxurious and the kitchen fully equipped with flatware, silverware, kettle etc. Very good if you want to eat/have tea in the room. You can also air out the room after using the vents. The hotel is really very well thought out.

The rooms have double doors too. the outer doors are shared between 2 rooms. the additional doors help keep out the noise. we couldn't hear anything from the hall and we were near the elevators.

resort fees suck but most of the better hotels in vegas force you to pay it. complimentary newspapers (ny times) were nice tho.

i prefer self-parking but there's only valet parking for trump. again, the newer nicer hotels seem to force this on you.

trump location is closer to wynn. the only negative comment we have is that the bed was not very comfortable. we prefer firm mattresses but the king mattress sloped towards the outside of the bed. i was ok with that but my husband was not very comfortable. anyway, it seems like most US hotels, even purported 5-star ones, don't have good beds.

nice, comfortable, luxurious stay on the strip. i might stay again just for the tub and service :-)

btw, resort fee buys you nothing. free newspapers, wifi, pool and gym use. that's it. spa day use is $12...

Room Tip: i don't need a view of the strip so studio city view was good enough for me :-)

Dear valued Guest:

Aren't our tubs great? Our bathrooms are spacious and detail oriented and the HUGE tubs really are a favorite of our guests. Thank you for sharing and for staying with us.

We stayed at Trump International for the Thanksgiving long week-end. Overall a very good solution. We liked the absence of the typical casino floor, the fact that is in just steps away from one of the entrances of the Fashion Mall ( Nordstrom ) and the beautiful heated swimming pool. Professional service with nice touches such as the desk clerk personally guiding you to the right elevator for your suite. Speaking of elevators, these reach the high floors in few seconds. Even the basic suite have great views, kitchenette, huge bathroom, TV embedded into the bath mirror and many other nice touches. We had a light lunch on the pool border and it was good and very reasonably priced.

We stayed at the Trump because it was the best value we could find for Thanksgiving weekend. By not having its own casino, the lobby was calm and clean and smoke-free, and the check-in/out process was smooth. It’s located about 30 minutes walk away from Bellagio, but right across street from Fashion Show Mall. Since we all have been to Vegas previously, we chose to take the shuttle to Caesars instead of meander on the strip. The shuttles came every 15 minutes and dropped us off at the lower level of the Forum Shops. It was only an escalator away from the shops and casino. We stayed in a studio with strip view on the 37th FL. The room was more spacious than I thought, and it didn’t feel crowded at all for having 3 people. The bathroom was modern and I loved the toiletries it provided from The Spa at Trump (I just loved the fresh smell!). The only problem we had was the bed, it was way too soft and we had to remove the extra memory foam pad the 2nd night. If you are not here for the casino, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The hotel is immaculate although can feel sparse in that it is so large and the lobby has no casino that there are never that many people hanging out downstairs. Check in was efficient and the very polite check in staff member was nice enough to upgrade my wife and I at no charge to an upgraded strip view room for our anniversary! The rooms are very large and include a refrigerator, stove top and microwave. This would be especially beneficial if there were any supermarkets nearby (which there are not), still you can at least keep the leftovers from restaurants and turn one meal into two! Bed was large and pretty comfortable. Furnishings were attractive and useful. Plenty of drawer and closet space! Bathroom was very large with an over-sized, soaking jet tub and a shower. The vanity mirror had a TV in it which was nice at days end to sit in the tub and watch shows and relax. Room was very clean every time we returned. Valet and bell desk were extremely accommodating. The concierge desk usually had a line so we did not use them. Food was good but expensive (not out of line with the other hotel/casinos). I would not call the walk to the strip far, but definitely not convenient, especially considering how much walking is involved once on the strip. There is a shuttle which is nice, but limited. Trump should consider opening some gaming on their property (poker room at least) so their guests can enjoy themselves fully without having to leave as often. Truthfully we spent very little time at the actual hotel for this reason. Fashion show mall is a shortcut to the strip but was always very busy and was closed before 8 am/after 9 pm.

Room Tip: As high of a floor as possible facing the strip to avoid the train noise.

We split our time between the Trump and the Vdara, getting really nice prices on both. I have to say that I preferred the Trump mostly because of superior service and nearby amenities. Although Trump is not really close to anything on the strip, there is a big mall and a lot of restaurant choices.

Service at the Trump was top notch and they had very good cocktails available at the nice outdoor pool. There was also a 'fine dining' restaurant on the property, unlike Vdara, so I didn't have to go wandering around nearby hotels looking for dinner. I thought the food was just OK, but when you have a kid, you appreciate the option to go downstairs for a real meal after he goes to bed.

Stayed for 3 nights midweek in late October.

The hotel is really good, quiet compared to other hotels with their own casinos. We had a studio room with a city view, the room was really great and a big size, with own small kitchenette, jacuzzi, separate shower and flat screen TV. The pool is good.

The hotel was really good value for money and after shopping around it was the best rate for a five star hotel.

Only negatives were having to pay an additional $25 Resort Fee (apparently covers bottled water, morning papers and WIFI) and parts of the room were a little worn (limescale and a bit of mould in the shower, worn bolster).

Overall would recommend as is a nice escape from the rest of the strip and the is great value.

This hotel is not directly on the strip, it is about a 10 minute walk to Wynn but they have constant free shuttles to take you to Wynn or Caesars. We were on the 37th floor The room was great with a beautiful view. The bed was quite soft but comfortable. The bathroom was large and well appointed. The check in/ check out Service was excellent and fast. We ate breakfast in the lobby restaurant and it was very good. This is a great place to stay that has less lobby confusion because they do not have gambling in the hotel but it is very close to everything on the strip. The wi fi is very fast. We did not try the spa or the pool.

Room Tip: You are able to choose the strip view or the city view. We had the city view which was very nice.
