We stayed in a studio city view and their description was soaking tub but it's actually a jetted tub! Ah... it was good soaking in that tub :-)
City view was nice. we saw a freight train come in. They have some small air vents in the windows. One didn't close completely but the hotel staff took care of it promptly. Because of the vents, a little noise comes in through them but it's not really noticeable.
The furnishings are luxurious and the kitchen fully equipped with flatware, silverware, kettle etc. Very good if you want to eat/have tea in the room. You can also air out the room after using the vents. The hotel is really very well thought out.
The rooms have double doors too. the outer doors are shared between 2 rooms. the additional doors help keep out the noise. we couldn't hear anything from the hall and we were near the elevators.
resort fees suck but most of the better hotels in vegas force you to pay it. complimentary newspapers (ny times) were nice tho.
i prefer self-parking but there's only valet parking for trump. again, the newer nicer hotels seem to force this on you.
trump location is closer to wynn. the only negative comment we have is that the bed was not very comfortable. we prefer firm mattresses but the king mattress sloped towards the outside of the bed. i was ok with that but my husband was not very comfortable. anyway, it seems like most US hotels, even purported 5-star ones, don't have good beds.
nice, comfortable, luxurious stay on the strip. i might stay again just for the tub and service :-)
btw, resort fee buys you nothing. free newspapers, wifi, pool and gym use. that's it. spa day use is $12...
