“Fabulous”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Gorgeous place overlooking the lake with a sophisticated American menu and wine list. The menu is quite gourmet, including veal broth, foie gras and short ribs. On the expensive side.

“Quality food prepared well-top notch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

It"s not just the food here that is great, it also is on the shore of Lake Tahoe with a killer view. Ask for a window table if they are not busy; I stabbed myself with a fork full of food in the face by eating and looking out the window at the same time. Two fireplaces at each end of the room big enough to drive a car thru with overhead beams that must be 24 by 24 inches square. Facinating all around with great lamb chops cooked right (no pink) and a black rice risotto I now want to make at home-yum

“Stunning location, good food, pricey.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

This restaurant is right on the lake, adjacent to the Hyatt Incline Village. Everyone in our party had different versiions of red meat (New York, Filet Mignon and Bison). All were good although the portions were small for the price and 'sides' are extra. We enjoyed au gratin potatoes which were very tasty as well as caesar salad. The service was excellent; both professional and personable and our every need was anticipated.

“Great views and atmosphere, pricey though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Lone Eagle is part of the Hyatt at Incline Village. A beautiful setting, right along the shores of lake Tahoe. The views are fabulous, and atmosphere romantic. It's expensive - but certainly worth it for the views and great setting. It's a relaxing place with high ceilings and beautiful big fireplaces. Dinner (with drinks, wine etc can be super expensive), so we went for lunch which was perfect. We got to enjoy the wonderful views. We have been at sunset for drinks at the lovely bar (in the summer). Also a fun experience. The food is OK, not the greatest but nice. It's a very relaxing place to spend a couple of hours, or to warm up on a cold day. They have a wonderful fireplace on the patio outside. Also nice to walk around the lake after the meal.

“Good View-Great Lunch- Atmosphere Galore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Classy place with view. Aspen smoked ribs appetizer very tasty, creme of wild mushroom soup a delight, mesquite chicken sandwich on dutch crunch roll remarkable, and wife's hamburger with fried egg on pretzel roll monumental. Polite un-rushed but thoughtful service. Add wonderful lakeside view in a baronial style double fireplace restaurant, enjoy. Total with fat tip around $80 for two but worth it.
