“Great deli”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

A half of a sandwich and a cup of soup equals a full bowl of delicious homemade soup and giant sandwich! One of my favorite spits for lunch or breakfast. Friendly staff, good food and value.

“New York Deli in Nevada”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Having grown up in the New York City area, one of the places I miss is the neighborhood Jewish Deli. Weiss Restaurant fills the void. The tables and chairs are plain, the sandwiches are not! They bake their own crusty rye bread and serve monster sandwiches. Their Pastrami is New York as are their fish plates. The french fries are great and their potato salad is incredible. Just outside Las Vegas this Deli is definitely worth driving to and is far better than any of the "delis" in the hotels.

“Even better than delis in LA!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Our second visit here and both were great. Wonderful selection, generous portions, and tasty, too! ! Wish the coffee were better-- weak and tasteless.

“A Place to Satisfy you NY Deli Cravings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

As someone who grew on on New York Deli food I am always eager to try New York Deli style restaurants no matter where I happen to be. Most of the food is New York Deli style, although there are a few items which you probably would not find in a New York Deli such as Reuben Sandwiches, ham sandwiches and the like. The pastrami sandwich was what you would expect, lots of tasty, moist meat, and some of the best rye bread I have had along with a side of a pickled green tomato and half sour pickle. The knish was a bit bland compared to those you would typically find in NY. One dish which we loved and which you probably would not find in a NY Deli was "Ceily's Stack," two potato pancakes stuffed with braised beef brisket topped with muenster and provolone and covered with brown sauce. It was wonderfully delicious and by itself worth the trip and something that is a break from the typical deli sandwich. If you crave a New York style deli, this restaurant will probably satisfy your cravings.
