It is difficult to find information about this trail if you are not local since the website hasn't been updated for a few years. Call local bike shops or stop at one prior to riding. 34 miles total. This is a WONDERFUL bike ride with great views of the desert and Lake Mead. Excellent, fairly new, wide surface. Perfect for road bikes. Not much traffic. The map makes it looks like nice long sections. Wrong! It has lots of switchbacks and curves. Approx elevation gain over the course of the path - 3000 feet due to many hills. I don't think there is a flat section on the course. Prior to riding, go to the website for Boulder City and download the bike trail map for their town if you think you might want to stop there for something to eat. There is no signage along the trail for food. The Railroad casino is right on the trail, so you won't miss that for food. Can be windy, and of course hot, depending on the time of year. Only a few spots for shade and only a few benches around Boulder City. Water, bathrooms - need to go off the trail to refill water bottles except for a couple places, one of them a campground at Lake Mead. Parking and trail access - check with locals, not well marked. In general, great bike ride.
