“New Years Eve/Day dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

The menu is brilliant and appropriately priced at $75. Five course menu with a great choice including a selection of smoked salmon, caviar, lobster, sea bass and a great cinnamon and apple tarte tatin. Glass of champagne as well as a champagne sorbet was included with the meal. Sat outside had two heaters but was still very cold, perfect spot for seeing the fireworks that happen as soon as the new year comes in. Great relaxed atmosphere for new year apart from it being slightly too chilly!

“Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Went to Bernard's twice in lake Las Vegas and had a great meal. The only thing I would say is that the staff do need some instruction on how to serve. Although it is ok it could be a lot better as they do seem to be a bit forgetful. If Bernard's can survive while lake Las Vegas recovers then I'm sure Bernard's will do very well. Good idea to go New Year's Eve if you want a more controlled environment with fireworks and a band . Good for family's.

“Outstanding Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Bernards is by far one of the best restaurants not only in Lake Las Vegas but anywhere. Chef Bernard's food is exceptional and his personal flare is evident everywhere. I looked forward to trying many things on the menu but one thing I ordered over and over again was the apple tartin desert, it is to die for! We also had a large event for 120 people and the food was again exceptional which is hard to do with a group that size. Chef Bernard, his food and his staff make this place a must!

“Surprisingly good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

The MonteLago Village, where Bernard's Bistro is located, is going through bad times financially, so we weren't expecting much. But Bernard's was very good. The food was beautifully presented and was delicious. We ate outside on the patio and the service was prompt and friendly.
