“Nice Rooms, Nothing Fancy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Check in went well. The front desk representative was very nice and we had great service. The room was nice, not great, but fine. There was a wall mounted television in our room. The room was quite small compared with other comparable hotels. There was no closet, but there was a small 5-foot tall bureau to put our stuff in. There's no pool. I'd stay here again because the room was clean and quiet, which was all we needed.

I came from Wisconsin to try to land a job in the gold mines here around Elko Nevada. After my TERRIBLE experience with Motel 6 we decided to pay the extra cost to stay here. So far (couple days) everything has been good. Not exceptional or anything crazy, I mean its a nice place for $79.99 a night. Like I said we plan on staying in Elko for awhile until i get hired at the mines so for now its hotel living which is expensive the whole town is actually compared to WI. They did offer to reduce the nightly cost by $20 a night if I indeed wanted to stay here for the entire two weeks, however as of right now we unsure due to just the price. After all that will run $1,000 for 2 weeks. Can't rent an apartment cause I don't have a job so for now its hotel life. However, Quality Inn has treated us well and is miles above the Motel 6, that single experience has ruined the entire franchise for me, never again will I stay at Motel 6, but Quality Inn I won't hesitate to spend the night.

Room Tip: From what I've seen all rooms have a little bed by the window which is nice for small children...

The place was not terrible but was very disappointing and not a good value. Our room was supposed to have a king bed but had a king headboard on the wall with a queen bed. If the room had contained a king bed we probably would not have been able to enter the room The room was tiny, maintenance was OK, but it wasn't very clean. Bed was only average as well. Breakfast was also below typical Quality Inn standards.

Room Tip: Book ahead in central Nevada as towns are few and far between.

Small.cramped room in desperate need of updating. Uncomfortable mattress Bedbug on the window seat in morning. Over priced. Torn and dirty shower curtain with only one towel. This room would have still been bad at half the price.

Comfortable bed, large clean room near front desk. Internet strong. Friendly front desk. Nice outside appearance except dragging front door. Signs of aging like missing drain plugs in sink and tub, but everything working. Rooms on street side experience noise from highway and parking area. Good breakfast choices.

Room Tip: Get a room on the back side if possible.

We were very pleased with the room here and the breakfast was quite nice with several choices of items including waffles. The room was clean as was the bathroom. I couldn't see any cons with this Motel. The staff was friendly enough and we slept comfortably.

Everything else was full, so we had no choice. Small room with tiny bath. Glare of bare fluorescent bulbs made it feel like an interrogation chamber. Fine breakfast. Pretty quiet, even with train tracks 100 yards out the back. Good waffles. Reception OK gave good directions to Basque restaurant
