This room was just OK. The TV must have come over with Columbus on the Santa Maria---19 inch screen, I would say it had to be from the 80's, and that is being generous. Sound would go in and out, loud, soft, over and over again. I asked if someone could PLEASE check it for us. We spent four nights there, so it was annoying. The picture turned a bright pink, then red, then normal again. It cost us $50.00 per night with tax. I have stayed in Laughlin for $15 a night in the past few months, that room was 100% better and 1/3 the price. The food at the restaurant was much to be desired, only got our money one time. The decorations in the room are from the 70's, I know that for a fact as I got one of those type bedspreads for a wedding gift, and we were married in 1970--went here for our 38th anniversary. The staff were VERY VERY NICE. The lady who made up our room each day was so nice. Would I go back there again---never.

Great old casino/hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Elko. Rooms are $40 a night and clean and fine. Red Lion Inn is $100+ a night and modern yet it has high traffic and beat to hell. Plus you cannot walk to downtown from the Redlion. 92 mile walk) Stockman's is a good move and you can't beat the price.

5 Stars for this old classic!

I really liked the Stockman's Hotel and casino! It was a fun place to stay! The room was clean. The desk clerks, restaurant staff, bartenders, floor managers, security guards, dealers, housekeepers, etc. were very nice, very helpful and really cool people. Well worth the money! I'm looking forward to staying there again in the future!

We stayed there for 1 night after partying in town for the night. When i made the reservation i asked if the rooms were nice. The receptionist said yes they were very nice. Wrong. First of all, when we checked in,the receptionist wasn't very friendly. No smile, no greeting, she just ask for ID and Creditcard. When we got to the room. It was not what i expected. The room was average. The carpet had nasty stains everywhere, the Towels were grey, not white. I guess you do get what you pay for.

“Don't get comfortable”

Stockmen's Hotel and Casino

We went into the casino, as out room was dark and musky smelling. My wife had her feet resting on the console as she is somewhat petite. This is something she has done for years. Many folks do, as their stools are uncomfortable. A "BARNEY FIFE' security guard came over to her and said,"could you put your feet down'
Twenty years and never a complaint. 20 years and Stockmens will NEVER see our money again. Stay away from ALL of their properties (including the Gold Dust'. Apparently 'comfort' is not a key ingredient anymore.
We went to the Red Lion.....CLEAN, FRIENDLY,...well worth it
