“Victorian elegance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Ambiance is Victorian with red velvet booths, tables with club chairs, flocked wallpaper and brass chandelier with crystals. Service is excellent and so is food. Luis still makes the best table side Caesar salad. He and Rick are part of very attentive waitstaff. There are many table side and flambeed entrees and desserts to choose from, such as steak Diane, etc. There is also a regular menu consisting of steaks, pork chop, shrimp and pasta, fish, side dishes (baled potato, creamed spinach, etc.) and various sauces ( chimichurri, béarnaise, etc) all at additional charge. Most everything is a la carte except for prix fixe menu $50 pp.
Prices are expensive but if you want deluxe dining, this is the place. There is sn extensive wine list but if you bring your own, there is $20 corkage fee. There is ample free parking. Rservations suggested.

“Best salad ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

Wow!!! I will try to put my experience into words. I am by no means wealthy, but was on vacation with enough in my wallet to order stuff without asking how much it cost for one night at least. We wanted to take my in laws out for a nice dinner and stumbled upon this awsome place on accident. My father in law has some nutritional restrictions that he tossed out the window for the evening. I could not have been happier with every aspect of our dinner. My favorite was the Caeser salad. They make it right at your table starting with egg yolks. We had 2 steak dinners, lobster and salmon with appetisers. It came to a little over $200 plus a well deserved 20% tip.

“Awesome Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013

Great meal, had filet mignon, just melted in your mouth. Great service, nice atmosphere. It didn't smell like smoke, which was a huge plus. Great drinks at the bar. Very clean, and you can tell the waiters really enjoy their job and really knew their stuff.

“Amazing and Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We had an amazing and delicious dinner at the Crystal Bay Steak & Lobster House at Crystal Bay, Nevada. The restaurant is part of the Crystal Bay Casino and the restaurant ambiance was superb. It was a throwback to the 1950s and 1960s when Frank Sinatra and other luminaries worked the casinos in the Lake Tahoe area. The steak melted in my mouth and the sauteed mushrooms were outstanding. The service was top-flight. We noticed that our server spent time asking us questions and getting to know us - in an easy-going sort of way. We were also impressed with the fact that the different servers didn't hesitate to pick up dishes from a table that wasn't theirs. During the two weeks we spent at Lake Tahoe, this was the best dinner we had the privilege to enjoy.

“Would not go back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

First problem is walking through the dark and very smokey casino to get to the restaurant from the parking garage. Our party of 4 just had wine, salads and appetizers. The wedge salad had a sizeable portion of lettuce but could have used more of everything else. The fried calamari strips were very disappointing. Small portion and bland. My companion who always eats everything on his plate didn't finish his calamari. A server said the wedge salad was the chopped salad and had to go to the kitchen for clarification. An order of baked potato was forgotten and served when we were finished with everything else.
