Having been a thai food avoider, I am chagrined to now call this authentic thai restaurant a favorite.....absolutely beautiful artful presentation of the food, humble professional service, pristine white linens, superb glassware, art plates and ethnic servingware and then the food just melts in your mouth with a light blend of specialty sauces perfectly executed and main protein ingredients of the highest quality....my hubby had a seafood special for the night composed of scallops, salmon, shrimp, squid, mussels and vegis in a light sauce served in a coconut shell with fresh coconut shavings and a lemongrass/scallion tree for aesthetics.......he was speechless with how good it tasted! I got a bite or two but still preferred my on the menu #35 pra-ram with shrimp (spinach, broccoli in a peanut sauce with shrimp served more like a casserole) and the taste was the prize there.......no way to describe it other than melty, comfort food! We will go back........surprised to discover i like thai food, at least this authentic high end version.....not spicy or greasy like i have had at more modest locations that call themselves thai, i now suspect they were just fast food dressed in an asian skirt....while this restaurant in Carson City, Nevada is the real deal......our waiter and all the staff were from indonesia and i think i saw the chef, she was very tiny and young but in chef's whites and most deserving some accolades for the divine dining!
