This was my second visit to this Applebees and again this time it was just as disappointing.
My husband had eaten here a couple of weeks prior and had a real good experience. He had the steak and mashed potatoes that time, so he thought he would try it again this time. During this visit, they served him an end-cut over-done steak and when he asked to have it corrected to his liking and the way he ordered it "medium rare" it was not problem for the server to correct it. When they brought the make good, it was indeed good but very rare which my husband was ok with. I ordered the won-ton tacos. They would have been good had the chicken not been drenched in their soy based marinade. It was just too strong and over powering. The cole-slaw they add was very good. They offered to bring me something else but my tongue was stinging from the marinade and I was just "done". I told them how good the cole slaw was and they brought me a small bowl of it. That was very nice. The music was loud and best suited for the very young folks. In fact, this happened the first visit as well....we left because it was too loud depsite our asking for it to be turned down. This time we did not say anything. I think this restaurant has a good menu and I will try it again.....if the loud music does not scare me away.
