The menu is extensive and should be pared down. I ordered a warm beet salad. The salad was HUGE and it was a mess. The portion should be cut down to about 1/4 of what was served. The lettuce needs to be selected better, so you are not served the core. The nuts were ground to dust which made the salad taste like it was sprinkled with sawdust. My husband ordered the turkey burger - which also could be pared down by half.
We ordered the cheesy grits appetizer, which was outstanding. They are actually fried into rectangles and served with a dip.
Also, on offer were house-made popsicles, which were merely so-so. The execution simply did not meet what the chef was hoping for.
Our server seemed overwhelmed and over-worked. He either was a newbie or simply incompetent, it was difficult to tell. He kept getting orders wrong, delivering plates to the wrong tables, forgetting to refill glasses, etc.
