“Clean and close to Death Valley!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

That was a good choice for my family and I to stay at the Motel 6 in Beatty since we could be up early the next morning and ready to go to Rhyolite and Death Valley. The room was clean and decent, and the surroundings are safe. The price was cheap so you can put the money you save somewhere else. If you really want to use WiFi, do not count on that unless you want to pay 5$ for it, but it barely works. But no worry, you are on vacation after all!

Room Tip: If you have pet allergies, just make the request for a room that was pet free 24-48 hours before. Th...

45 mins outside of the Park. Cheap location unless your prepared to camp on site or that would be the better choice. Went in Dec so really needed a warm bed. Clean and with a local Denny walkable distance would recommend!

I have definitely stayed in better places that included more for this price, but this was okay. Hotel is moderately clean and the room doesn't smell bad. They charge $5/day for internet that barely works.

It's just a Motel 6 in the very small town of Beatty NV. There is one casino, a Deneys, a huge candy store and a couple of local eateries/bars. But, there are hardly any motels in Death Valley and the are pricey!! This was perfect to be close to all the sites to see in the very beautiful National Park.

Rooms are spacious and the furniture comfortable. Walls are not well soundproofed, and conversations in the hall and adjacent rooms are obvious. No coffee maker in the room (though there was coffee in urns near the check-out). Towels are thin to almost threadbare. Wifi is $5 extra. Any discounts, such as age, have to be requested, as they are not advertised or promoted.

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor then the noise level will be less.

Honestly given the location, I was quite surprised how clean and nice this hotel was. There is no fridge which would have made my stay better. Denny's is across the road if you want breakfast or there is a subways right next door.

Good room at a very good price (60$/night). Only 30 minutes from Death Valley.

No breakfast, no fridge, no free Wifi.
Very clean, this Motel 6 is more an Hotel... and especially a very clean one with very nice rooms! We were really surprised!

There is an ice machine on every floor, very useful when you go to Death Valley the next day.
