“Quiet and comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

After a long day on the road, we decided to pull off for a night's sleep. The room was very clean and seemed a bit larger than the normal motel room. It seemed as though everything was being well cared for on this property. This property, while on a major thoroughfare, was quiet. Price was good (we were using a coupon from a brochure, which was honored upon request) and owners/managers were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was limited in scope, but we were just fine with what was offered.

Rates were pretty good at this Rodeway Inn,,,especially compared to other motels in the area...but I should have paid more as I got what I paid for here. The rooms were on the "edge" of being clean, but had that musty moldy smell....shower was marginally "acceptable" and the rooms were very "used". The rate was "ok"....but not a "great rate" for the room that I had.

I'm not sure what attracts folks to this motel; but it must be nothing more than the price as my friends and I felt somewhat uncomfortable the entire time we stayed in this location. No more Rodeway Inns for us!

Room Tip: I don't think I could help anyone choose a good room at this motel. I don't think there are...

My elderly sister and I stayed at the Rodeway Inn and found the staff and the hotel to be very accommodating. My sister is handicapped and, even without reservations, they were able to accommodate us with a room on the first floor. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area .

Almost clean and very comfortable. Breakfast with hot boiled eggs and hot waffles, cereals, juice, bread and donuts, coffee but only green tea with no other choices. We asked for black tea bags, but were told no!, only green tea!!!
The cleaner needs to clean under the beds and behind the bedside table. Very dusty.

Just got back to Colorado after staying 6 nights at this hotel. We were there during a large softball tournament, and the Rodeway doubled their rates to $80 per night as there were very few hotel rooms in town remaining. The room was somewhat clean, although if you lifted up the bed skirt, there was a lot of trash that was not being cleaned up, but no mold in the showers, or outright filth. However, waking up early on our 5th morning, when I turned the light on, found a cockroach about a foot away from my head on the nightstand. Then found another critter climbing up a wall. I informed the management about it, but they didn't have much of a response. The parking lot is very small and tight. The pool was pretty cloudy, so we didn't go swimming, but at the time the city was doing major road work and a lot of concrete dust was in the air floating down on the pool. Breakfast was okay. Maid service was spotty. One day they were knocking on the door at 9 am, another day we would come back to the room after 1 pm and no one had been in to clean it. The beds are pretty hard too, so if you're looking for a soft comfortable mattress, it is not there.

The motel is a little run down but the room was clean, everything worked and the outdoor pool was nice. About the only downside was that breakfast was quite limited.

OK place, old and out dated. Friendly staff. By far the best hotel if you are staying on the North side of North Platte.
