“Clean rooms, would stay again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2010

We stayed at La Quinta Lincoln during a road trip west out of Omaha. We had two cats with us and they stayed comfortably with us in our rooms. Our room came with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Felt very safe and slept so soundly. Breakfast was not extensive but certainly met our needs. We'd stay here again!

Our one night at the LaQuinta Inn, in Lincoln, Ne cost us about $72 (includes tax) which we feel is very reasonable. The hotel is pet friendly and there was no additional charge for our dog.
We reserved a room with a king sized bed and it featured a small dorm refrig which was housed in a cabinet, so it was more like a piece of furniture than an appliance. The room also featured an overstuffed chair with a divan.

The room was clean and neat and attractively decorated. The bathroom was immaculate. We were pleased with the accomodations. While we did not use the pool nor the hot tube, they were available.

There was a breakfast bar featuring the usual cereal, bread, bagels, fresh fruit, two kinds of fruit juice, coffee, hot water for tea or hot chocolate. Also yogurt and Jimmy
Dean sausage biscuits which could be microwaved. And the waffle batter to make waffles.

We were impressed with the staff who came in and made sure the breakfast bar was clean and wiped down the tables after some of the other guests had left.

Our only criticism would be that the decaffinated coffee did not seem to be decaffinated and was too strong for our taste.

Overall we felt this mote a good value and would recommend this motel to others. Within walking distance of this motel is an IHOP and Carlos O Kelly's restaurant.

Large clean room. King size bed and sleeper couch. Free working internet. Frig, microwave. Large Vizio tv. Great value for the money. Pet friendly with no extra charges. This is our first LaQuinta stay and I am sold.

Stayed here with extended family in two different types of rooms. Both were excellent. Pillows were generous and thick, as were the towels.
The rooms were clean, with only a hint of mold starting on on the bottom side of the bathtub faucet (only visible if you were sitting in the tub.
Breakfast included make your own waffles, prepackaged biscuit/sausage sandwiches for the microwave, bagels and pastries, hot/cold cereal. If you want something better than basic out of the can coffee, there is an espresso drive-thru place in the parking lot in front of the hotel.
The pool is a bit small, but the hot tub is fairly large. Both were very clean with plenty of extra towels

The front desk was very friendly, the room was clean and the free breakfast is well provided. The room had plenty space for three of us in a double queen room. They could use a sign out on 27th for better help in knowing where to turn. I missed the proper turning lane several times. The only "complaint" is that the front desk did not help us with check-in and boarding pass printing for our airplane flights. That is the first time in recent travels that we have been denied that service.

The exterior resembles a bunker. The public areas are pleasant, but basic. However, the rooms are newly updated, very comfortable and sparkling clean. Excellent flat screen TV. Granted, we had a king suite (sort of a divided room) courtesy of LQ points accumulated, but we would have gladly paid a AAA or other discounted rate. The staff are very nice. Give it a try if you're doing the long drive through Nebraska.

  • Liked — quality of the room
  • Disliked — exterior is basic

My family and I stayed at the Ramada Limited on N.27th in Lincoln, NE on Jan. 14, 2002, having two rooms. It was dirty, the beds were dirty, the carpets were in poor repair and dirty, the faucet at the sink would not shut off. The manager was told, he said it was fixed, but it did not drip, it ran a stream. The complimentary breakfast was by far the worst I have seem. Cold cereal with no milk, and cold coffee. The pool was to have no more than 18, and people were there that did not have a room. There was at one time 24 in the pool so we left. It was our fault for not checking out, but we had stayed a couple years before and could not believe it could be so bad. Next time we will settle in at the Settle Inn. I know it is good and we do get treated very well, courteously, and feel welcome plus we want to come back again. Paul Loy
