The hotel's breakfast is to die for! The rooms are very nice, and if you needed something room service is there to help. I talked to a few of the employies and they said that they really like working at the Emabassy and I could tell.

I think for the money you can't beat an Embassy Suites, especially this one that is fairly new. The room was a typical Embassy room, nice and spacious, and good bang for the buck. I do have to complain about their "happy hour". Back in the day at an embassy you could pony up to a bar, and get free drinks for 2 hours (its always nice to tip the bartender though). If I wanted to let loose for a bit, I would pound as many drinks in 2 hours as I could to get a good buzz going. I stayed at this hotel and was given tickets for 2 free drinks (well drinks) and had to wait in line a good 15 minutes for each drink. I know the travel industry is hurting post 9/11, but this is my only complaint. I know, it is petty, but it is one of the reasons I used to choose Embassys, was for the happy hour(s). The wait for breakfast was very long too, but the quality of the meal made up for it. Not sure if all embassy's are like this now, or if it was just this one - it was on a Saturday, so maybe things are different during the week. But as for the room itself, you can't go wrong here.
Wow! Awesome Hotel. Very pleasant staff. Excellent Location. Breakfast Buffet was excellent everything you might have wanted and more. Definately worth the extra$$. Best I've stayed at in Lincoln.
If you are going to stay in Lincoln, Nebraska, you must stay in this hotel!! I am from Lincoln and our company held its holiday party here. We decided to book a room for the night, and I am glad we did! The rooms are very spacious. Everyone was really nice and the breakfast was delicious!! I highly suggest this hotel to all of my out of town guests.
If you wanted to stay in the top hotel in Lincoln, the Cornhusker used to be an obvious choice. Today I believe the Embassy holds that title. I've stayed at most of the hotels in Lincoln, and the Embassy is in a class of its own.
Being relatively new, the rooms and facilities are still meticulous. Rooms are fresh, clean, comfortable and inspire confidence. The atrium is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Morning breakfast is very good, as it generally is at any Embassy. The pool is rather small, and can quickly get crowded, and the game room is very small.
Being in the heart of downtown, space is at a premium, and this can create some inconveniences. The entrance can be confusing and a bit difficult to access for a new visitor to Lincoln. Parking is the biggest negative, as both parking garages are across the street. The west garage has covered access over the street, but is still a bit of a walk back to the lobby.
The location is just outstanding. The University is only a few blocks away, the Lied Center is across the street, and the Haymarket is an easy walk. There are restaurants readily available, and access back to the interstate is very easy.
The Embassy in Lincoln is my family's favorite hotel and I highly recommend it!
