Love this restaurant! Food is great, owners and staff are wonderful. I have taken clients, ate with friends and family and the experience is always really good. You won't be disappointed!

“And "Maybe"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

Good location in the haymarket area. Food changes every time I've been there! Inventive menus, good, fresh food. A little crowded inside, but outside dining is also available. We thought that the prices were a bit high for the servings we received. Waitress was very good, making sure drinks were kept full, asking if everything was o.k., but not intrusive. Would I go back again? Maybe. I like to give restaurants 2 or 3 times to really be able to judge them. Give it a try when in Lincoln, Ne.

“Awkward set up, but tempting food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Thought we could come here and sit, enjoy a beer and an appetizer of bread and cheese or something different. But the awkwardness came in when we had to order, then sit. Kinda put us on the spot to pick out what to drink and eat quick because of a line behind us. So we ordered beer, sat, decided what to eat from their amazing menu, but then had to go back up, wait in line, order and wait again and pay? Agh. I hated that
Bread app was good though, mixed drinks weak, but I'd come back to "quickly" order a pork sandwich next time (looked amazing) and NOT drink.

“One of our favorites ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We come here often because it's delicious, unique and cares about customer service. We feel like we're dining with family when we come here.

One of the main reasons we come here is because of the focus on local fresh ingredients. We know some people who think the portions are small. If you want impersonal service and a giant steak, this is not your place. Come here if you want good local food (and beer) and consistently good service.

“Way too full of themselves ”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

The portions are small, prices are high and food isn't anything to write home about.

Waiters and waitresses don't appear often and on 2 separate occasions made us get our own silverware...weird.

We have been there 5 times because our friends keep telling us we must have had a bad experience and so we have given it a shot over and over again with friends, family and just ourselves. Every time my father comes into town he jokingly asks if we want to go back to Bread and Cup for another $40 breakfast for two.

I think my friends like this place because they are trying to hard to be cool. If you want quality dishes that are worth paying for check out Sebastians Table and skip this place.

Sorry just being honest after many trips.
