Owner description: Wilderness Ridge Golf Club is a semi-private golf club in South Lincoln, Nebraska and has a variety of golf and dining options. The clubhouse is a beautiful log cabin structure with The Lodge restaurant, Grill Tavern, Banquets & Catering, and a Cafe next to the Pro Shop. Wilderness Ridge has two exceptionally manicured courses: an 18-hole Championship Course which weaves throughout the Wilderness Ridge neighborhoods, and a fun 9-hole course perfect for a quick round of golf. The Club is also home to the Huskers, providing The Nebraska Golf Academy to both the men's and women's teams, as well as members and guests, so golf can be practiced year-round. With two courses to choose from, the Academy, large putting and chipping greens, an extensive driving range, and food & drink there is certainly plenty to do at Wilderness Ridge.Championship Course:Par 71Black Tees: 7,107 yardsBrown Tees: 6,518 yardsBlue Tees: 6,247 yardsGold Tees: 5,965 yardsWhite Tees: 5,097 yardsHost of the 2013 and 2014 NAIA Women’s National Championship, 2013 National Amputee Golf Association Championship, 2014 PGA Tour Pre-Qualifier, Nebraska Section PGA Championship.Home to the University of Nebraska Men’s and Women’s Golf TeamsExecutive Course:Par 32Black Tees: 2,114 yardsBrown Tees: 1,873 yardsGold Tees: 1,619 yards

“Nice setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Wilderness has a lovely Northwoods lodge and the food, service and atmosphere are always great. It's course is narrow and winds between housing areas, but it offers interesting challenges for golfers.

“Great golf!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Played back to back days in July. Greens are tougher than the average course but are in excellent shape. You can tell the regulars fix their marks on the green. Bent grass fairways. Service at restaurant was a bit slow. Overall great experience!

It looks like a lodge in Colorado or Wyoming. Serene views. The town of Lincoln is surrounded by farms and green fields forever!

“a must for food and surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The food is excellent. We had lunch on a Saturday in the bar. Nice big booths in a lodge atmosphere like a large log cabin. High ceilings, large chandeliers. It is a little pricey but worth it. The food is quality and the views can't be beat. On a nice day, sit on the deck. Beautiful!
