“Great museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

It's free for UNL students and don't forget to take a picture in the front of the huge fish bone! And you can see a lot of dinosaurs, then you will figure out millions of years ago, Nebraska was a inner sea, which probably transferred to the Ogallala water reservoir. Anyway, good place to go with your kids

“Excellent small natural history museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

This museum has a fairly small collection -- it's no Smithsonian -- but what is there is presented well, clearly explained, and interesting. I've never understood why only children are supposed to be interested in dinosaurs and other fossils, so I welcomed the material that was presented at an adult level.

“Lots to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Also called Morrill Hall and located on the U of Nebraska-Lincoln, this museum has a solid series of displays for anyone interested in archeology especially discovered in Nebraska. It is on several floors and also has good exhibits of the life on the prairie. There are military weapons and American Indian exhibits. There is a small section of gemology and meteorites.

If you are in the area and need something to do for a few hours, visit Morrill Hall. Adult admission was only $6 per person.

“Not just another boring fossil museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

There are so many dinosaur museums these days, they all seem alike. But, the exhibits here are really well presented and actually interesting. Really liked the mammoth exhibits and information. There is a limited amount of parking places. Could be an issue when school is in. Well worth going to.
