Dined at Greta's while visiting Lincoln for a sporting event. The food quality merits the #1 Trip Advisor rating. I had the Greta Burger, which has bleu cheese crumbles mixed in with the meat before it is cooked. This combined with a bakery style, extra fresh bun made for a fantastic lunch. I relished every bite. My wife had a turkey sandwich that she said was fantastic also. My daughter is gluten-free, and they were able to take the BBQ brisket and put it in a bowl for her rather than on a sandwich - she loved it.
We drove by Greta's and missed seeing it initially - coming away from Hwy 2, it is on the left side.
As others have noted, there are very few tables here - it doubles as a butcher shop. This is not the place to take a group of 8 people looking for a sit down experience. The walls are adorned with articles - the husband and wife proprietors have quite a history in the food business, so read the articles. And, of course, the photos of Greta (their cute daughter) complete the wall decor. For large groups, figure out a way to do take-out; you won't regret it. This is someplace that should not be missed while in Lincoln.
