I stayed at this hotel twice this month.
1st stay -king suite
Nice 2 "room" suite. Everything was clean. I was there when some sort of youth sport team was in town. So needless to say there were kids running and screaming in the hall all night long. There was also some strange lady roaming the halls around midnight. She knocked on every door on the 3rd floor. They have a lovely Indoor pool that I refused to swim in because it was green.
2nd stay - king suite
Once again I was in a king suite because for some odd reason they do not have refrigerators in queen rooms and they can't bring one to the room. Again I avoided the pool because it was still green a week later. I thought I'd give the exercise room a try but the treadmill was broken and they do not have a stationary bike. They only had a stair stepper and an eliptical. I was in a room in the lower 200's which are right by the stairs, elevator and conference room. I could always hear commotion and noise in my room. But the plus side of being near the conference room is that there is a bathroom right next to your room incase you have a roommate and you both have to use the restroom at the same time. I slept on the hide-a-bed and I thought it was weird that in the week I was there the maid never made the bed or folded it up.
Do not leave valuables in your room. I had 3 co-workers who came back to their room to find the door open. I'm not sure if anything was taken, but be careful. I forgot my key in my room one day. All I had to do was walk up to the front desk and say "I forgot my key. I'm in room ###" they immediately made me a new key without asking for ID or my name or anything.
I am grateful that they started breakfast early for us every day that we were there. Plus It's nice that there are a few restaurants in the same parking lot as HI.
