“quaint coffee house.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

They have excellent coffee and fresh backed goods, a rustic atmosphere, internet available. This place seems to be a local favorite due to the crowd I experienced while on my visit the two times I stopped in. What else can you say about a coffee shop, oh they had a hall way in the back of the place that young people kept going back into like another sitting room... no signs or description of what was back there, like it was a big secrete and you needed to be "in the know" to go there!?

“Best coffee in Lincoln”

Great atmosphere with wifi. One of our favorite coffee shops world wide. Had coffee with Senator Kerrey a few years ago.

“Chamomile mint tea. Yum.”

Fun little place. Got a delicious cookie and the service was speedy. I am so pleasantly surprised with Lincoln's Hay Market.

“Atmosphere Brewed up Right”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Located in the historic part of Lincoln in a former Seed wholesale building, this place has charm and whimsy. Wood floors, exposed brick and quirky art donated by patrons (like the Barbie collection) leave all the plastic hubris to the chain coffeeshops. The old train dock lets you people-watch above the cobblestones and is THE place during Husker Games and Farmers' Market. The baristas make an excellent variety of espresso drinks. The granita is a popular fav in the summer - like a coffee slushie. The Mill offers a wonderful variety of exotic loose-leaf selections, and like the hand-roasted beans, can be taken home for your personal stash. Try some of the locally-baked gourmet goods to go with your beverage or pick up some coffee and tea equipment the next time you're stuck for that perfect gift. Better yet, buy a French Press for yourself.
If you like the downtown Mill, you might also like their Prescott outpost on 48th street, also in a funky building with all the same charm and goods!

“Great coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This place has excellent coffee. I especially like the Americano. It is a wonderful place to stop on your way to a Husker game and it is in an excellent location. It is also a nice environment for reading a newspaper or meeting up with friends and family.
