“Great stay at the Embassy Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

I moved from the Courtyard on the other side of the convention center ( 200 yards) and felt like I had been upgraded from a 3 star to a 4 star hotel. The staff were friendlier, the rooms much nicer and the facilities just better overall. If you consider the value of the breakfast and cocktail hour the price is roughly the same but the value is much better.

I am not a fan of Embassy Suites, but came across this one on a road trip through Nebraska. I travel with an elderly mom and need to be assured of joining rooms. They went out of their way to assure that all our needs were taken care. It was clean, service was great, and it's an easy on off of the interstate. I never rate hotels, despite the traveling I do. But I felt this deserved an excellent rating.

This hotel is my home away from home. We stay here at least once a month. We been to almost every single one of Embassy Suite in the country, and this one is one of the best. Exept for the breakfast chefs. They always acting so rude. At other Embassy Suite, the breakfast chefs are nice and friendly and like the one at the Lake Buena Vista, he entertained the guests by giving everybody a random name. And his big jar for tips was full of tips.
May be, that's why, nobody give any tips in La Vista.

We were so very satisfied with our stay at the Embassy in Omaha/LaVista, NE. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great stay with great service, great accommodations, and great employees who are anxious to serve and with a smile and urgency about them! They are to be commended for their excellent work ethics and love of their position! Thank you to all!

Be prepared for lots of families and lots of noise on the weekends. There's a bunch of 'freebies' like happy hour, a breakfast buffet and swimming. etc. which means there are crowds for these 'goodies' and very long lines. The staff was helpful and patient but very busy.

Our room was quite dated and the carpet needed cleaning. If you want a little bit of peace and quiet, ask for a room on the top floor away from the elevator.

I think that for the price of the rooms the value isn't there. If you pay for a premium suite, they don't explain how to access your amenities and I didn't get the bed I registered for. My experience overall was only ok...not sure I would stay again...unless I could find nothing in the area cheaper.

This was my second time at this hotel. The hotel itself is lovely- beautiful lobby, nice restaurant, good conference facilities.
The rooms are really great. My room was upgraded because I arrived really late, and it was quite spacious. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. Also seperate living and sleeping rooms. Amenities were lacking a little, but you can request additional items from the front desk. The bed was comfortable- I know because I slept through the night!

The location is the only major downside. It's at least a 30 minute ($45) tax ride from the airport. The hotel does offer shuttle service around the vicinity of the hotel, but does not go to the airport.

The staff were all really nice.

I ate The Nines restaurant for lunch. Food was very good. Great salads. The deluxe breakfast was also good.

I'd stay again, although I'd rent a car next time. Not worth spending almost $100 on a taxi.
