“An excellent stop for a glimpse of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

All ages will find this interesting because it is presented in an entertaining way using many multi-media processes. You cannot miss it on I-80, so, if you are on a road trip, add about 2 hrs of wiggle room in your travels to visit this museum. Don't forget to walk across the bridge to an area highlighting Native Americans in an outdoor setting. AND THE BEST PART: some of the friendliest people work there. I do not know if they are volunteers or paid, but it does not matter. They are an informative and welcoming lot! If you can save time to go to downtown Kearney to eat at the Suwannee Thai Restaurant, your adventure in Kearney, Nebraska, will be deliciously enhanced. NOTE: Although there is a fee for entry into the museum part, there are many non-admission fee places and if you are prone to picnics while traveling, enjoy a stop here.

“Unique, Informative, Entertaining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

Don't dismiss this place. Give yourself a few hours to be better informed, entertained, and even refreshed as you stroll about this unique monument. Our family enjoyed the various historical and cultural elements. Nobody was bored, everyone was glad for the stretch and the pleasant surprise.
