“So Quiet!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

this is nice, pool and hottub, the best of it is SO quiet.
internet service is bad, one of those cheesy deals that make you jump through numerous advertising hoops to get online, but a lot of hotels in this mid price range have it.
overall, a good value.

When attempting to "block" rooms for my wedding next August, I found ALL area hotels were gouging their customers with increased prices or minimum 3-day stays due to the State Fair during this time. Many managers at other hotels were abrupt and rude, stating "that's State Fair weekend" when I mentioned we really needed the rooms for that weekend. We were quickly turned down.
The ONLY exception was Sleep Inn. Their prices remain low during this time, and a block was applied with no problem. The manager Jackie has been extremely professional, friendly, and very customer-service oriented. Unlike my experiences with several other mgrs at other local hotels, Jackie has went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Thanks Jackie!

My family stayed here 1 night and will stay again when we return to Nebraska! It was clean and spacious. Pool was great. Staff were amazing!! We had some intoxicated young men in the next room who got pretty noisy. A staff member actually sat outside their door and kept them quiet so we could sleep. Marvelous caring staff and very pleasant. This will obviously be our stop in the future. thank you so much

When traveling through Grand Island, NE the Sleep Inn cannot be beat! Clean, neat and plenty of parking. The breakfast at this Choice Hotel exceeds what most of them have. Hot scrambled eggs and sausage links in addition to the regular oatmeals and breads. Good hot coffee and enough seating. The pool is nice and it has a whirlpool spa next to it. If you are headed this way, give this place a try.

Room Tip: My non-smoking room was truly non-smoking. It also had a fridge, microwave and available iron to to...

Our room was quite clean and overall, the motel is in great shape with a good, easy in, easy out location. Adequate room size, great TV and comfy beds. Why only 3 stars (actually 2 1/2)? Although check in went OK (we had reservations) once 3 guest's were lined up to check in, the lady at the desk appeared to become overwhelmed telling potential guest's on the phone that she was "busy and they would have to call back". This is an interior corridor building, which I consider inconvenient and lacking character. Hotels favor this construction because it's cheaper to build and maintain yet this is rarely reflected in their rates. Everytime I stay at one of these I'm given a room on the upper floor, in the middle. No big deal, just an observation. Breakfast was OK, at least a step above the carbo loaded "contenental breakfast". Seating and room in the dining area is terribly inadequate for a motel this size. The motel was full so, this area became chaotic in the morning. The pool area was very well-kept and water was in great shape but, they don't allow any food or drink in the area - boring. This is just the motel for the one night business traveller, nothing fun about my experience here - it was OK but, ho-hum.

This hotel is dated and I don't know that it is in the ritzy side of town, but it is a great value and clean. There is no elevator and the ice machine is only in the lobby. This hotel is smioking and non-smoking. There is also a pop machine and candy machine in the lobby only. The staff was friendly and informational. Relatively quiet. Bed was comfortable and no bed bugs. Hot breakfast served in lobby.

Room Tip: Do not get a room at the very back end of the hotel or you will be awakened by the garbage truck emp...

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel for a friends wedding that was in Grand Island and our stay was trouble free! The desk was very friendly and gave us a late check out without any fuss even though the hotel was very busy. Breakfast was well stocked and had a very nice selection to choose from. The room itself was nice and clean with a refrigerator and microwave, and very quiet even though I know we were next to a room of kids. The hotel is located just across from the mall, Wal-Mart is just north of the hotel and it was just up the street from The Full Circle Venue where the reception was held. For the affordable price, excellent service and clean room this hotel was perfect and I would definitely recommend it.
