“POST PLAYHOUSE is the reason to come to Fort Rob”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

This was an incredible experience for me and my wife and 2 kids. We just had a blast! The Fort is fun too but it was ungodly hot so difficult to enjoy most of the outside activities!

But the Post Playhouse provided us with reasonably priced snacks, very cold A/C and absolutely professional entertainment.

Visit the Post - you won't be disappointed!

“Great place to reconnect with history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

Fort Robinson is a great place to "get back to our roots". Steeped in the history of the American West, surrounded by scenery, and abundant opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, or to learn from the history of the area in the museums. Very family friendly, with excursions such as horseback trail rides, jeep rides, stage coach, biking, hiking, fishing, or play the local golf course, which has fantastic views. Fourth of July in the area is a real treat! Fort Robinson has lodging available, or is a great place to spend a day passing through.

“Interesting park, full of western history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

The park is located on a lovely hilly piece of terrain. There are numerous restored and preserved historical buildings. We toured the fort museum. It had an interesting collection of material on the fort and its changing uses. We took a clear and well laid out driving tour of the park using a map we picked up at the museum. The site of Crazy Horse’s murder is probably one of the fort’s most memorable and historical locations. There are also numerous camping and lodging options.

We have season tickets to the Post Playhouse, at Fort Robinson, Crawford NEB. Excellant theater group, performing Oklahoma, Grease, Godspell, and more.. Seen Oklahoma, and spent the nite in a cabin at the Fort..museum, Great cabins, nice resturant, an overall fun Summer experience.. Good for any age group. Looking forward to Grease!
