“Comfortable Economy Stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Reviewed this hotel on the internet and decided it was the place for us when we travelled to Bellevue to attend a friend's wedding. This is a relatively new facility located mere minutes from Offutt Air Force Base and about a 20 minute drive (about 17 miles) from Eppley Field. Parking is sufficient and there's a gas station (convenient for filling the rental car's tank) and restaurants just outside the hotel's parking lot. The hotel itself is somewhat no frills. They do provide continental breakfast each morning and the rooms each have wireless internet connectivity (it was somewhat spotty) and cable TV (with old-style TVs). Our room had a nice, padded window seating area (about 6.5 feet long and three feet wide--nice for stretching out to watch TV), individual heater/AC unit located beneath the window seat, a queen bed, phone, radio/alarm clock, ironing board & iron, desk with chair, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable though small (probably 200 sq ft?). You will hear any door closing in the hallway as there's a half inch or so gap beneath the bottom of the entry door and the floor and you will also know when anyone in a nearby room is taking a shower as the running water sound is quite noticeable. The key negative for the room is no coffee maker--you'll have to travel to the continental breakfast area if you want a cup. This was an inexpensive stay but worth the money. If you're big on frills this is definitely not the place for you. If you're seeking a clean (though not particularly quiet) and comfortable stay with a few freebies then this is definitely the place for you. We liked it and would stay again.

Room Tip: Recommend avoiding the end rooms. The stairwell doors slam quite easily and guests seem to not noti...

We stay at this Microtel real often, as it is about twenty minutes from our daughter and family. The desk staff is always so pleasant and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom lighting is good. I do wish the bath counter was larger than it is, but it works. The breakfast bar is just average.

Our baseball team stayed here and everything went well. It was easy to get to anywhere we needed to go in the Omaha area. Free wi-fi. Jessica at the front desk always had a smile when answering questions or helping with a need. Restaurants, gas, Taget and groceries close by.

Room Tip: This hotel does allow pets, and rooms are not designated so those with allergies beaware.

This place was good for their service. The room was clean and staff was courteous. Our dogs did not have any problems and were very comfortable. $25 pet fee was charged at checkout. Military discount is offered. Breakfast was free, but did not offer much. We actually went to the hotel next door to eat breakfast. Free long distance and internet. Near a gas station and within walking distance to restaurants. It was too cold for the swimming pool when we stayed there. It is also close to the base and within driving distance to the rest of the city. Would stay there again.

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you were pleased with your stay. One point of clarification, we do not have a swimming pool at our Bellevue location.

First of all would like to say that i booked online and i booked a double "queen" with a frig and micro and when we went to check in and got to our room the beds look small so we moved all of our things in and then looked around and discovered that there was no frig or microwave so i went to talk to the lady at the front desk and she told me that they dont have frig or micro in rooms with the double beds at all! so the beds were not queen either they are double beds which is a big difference....anyhow she offered to move us to a free upgrade with a frig and micro and the couch would pull out to a bed..fine not what we wanted but alright..not happy i had to move to the 3rd floor since we were travellling with 3 small dogs and the bottom level is better with pottying them and all....we got into the room and the first thing we smelled was animal pee and proceeded to unpack our things again..went to dinner and shopped a little came back to give our toddler a bath and the tub didnt drain..really!!!??? so i had to call again to the front desk (phone was dirty and greasy)and she moved us to yet another room 10 doors down from that one and we get in and get showered and get ready for the night and i went to pull the curtains shut and part of the curtain fell on me...needless to say we checked out at midnight and didnt look back....The first lady that checked us in was poliet but the lady when we checked out was extemley rude and was not understandable that we were going to leave.....i was going to go to the comepetitor next door Hampton Inn and they were full so we drove clear across town to a different hotel...might i add that when i called the Hampton inn they said that they got this all the time and it was no new news to them that this place is a dump! Looks like a gem on the outside but dumpy on the inside....stay far away and dont waste your money on this hotel at all....i did get a full refund but had not gotten a refund on my animal deposit which i think was not fair and they sent me a free night stay but i threw it away..there is no way i would stay here again let alone FREE!!!! not worth it to me or my family!

Got into a car accident and wasn't able to make trip because we were in the hospital for 2 days. Got the run around for two weeks about refund with different excuses everytime, finally told it has been too long to offer refund. Very poor service and no understanding of a situation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The people were very friendly and professional. We had some problems with the room (problems with key reader) but they were very quick to take care of it. It is clean and well kept up. The breakfast we had the next morning was great. The attendant was very quick to make sure that everything was well taken care of. The internet access was fast and working space was adequate for our needs. They also were quick to accommodate us because we had several things to unload for the evening. They really took great care of us and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We stayed on the north side, away from Highway 310 and it was quiet.
