“Clean, Great Staff, Very Easy to Sites and Activities.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2011

We stayed in Room #113 2br/2bath for a week rental. The facility was new, clean, and quiet. There was a hot tube on the roof, in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and free internet. The location was about 1 block on the grounds to all the activities such as zip line, tree top walk, mountain biking, and hiking. You could not ask for better convenience! The check-in had all the amenities if you forgot something or need food or liquor. :) This is a great location for a vacation!

Room Tip: #113 Room was quiet, at the end of the hall away from the elevator and others.

Plan ahead, especially with activities such as the zip lines. These were simply awesome, although also relatively safe. Plan about a day for the downhill mountain biking too. If you are looking to fish, note there is no license to buy if fishing in the park, but you need to bring either your own pole and lures, or rent in town. The policy is to "catch and release" the beautiful rainbow trout. The weather was sunny with frequent clouds, which kept the temperatures from climbing above the upper 70's on the mountain. Prices for food, fare, and run seemed much more reasonable than some more trendy locations in the west. Their was no loss of class with reasonable prices. I strongly recommend this resort if you are looking to stay in a high quality 2-3 bedroom fully equipped condo (no a/c, but it cools off quickly at night on the infrequently warm nights, with screened windows and fans adequate for a comfortable nights sleep. We plan on taking the train from Portland, OR, which has a direct Amtrak 13 hour connection with sleeping rooms reasonably priced. Even if you wanted to save a bit by not getting a sleeper car, the accommodations are spacious, and conditions conducive to sleeping, at least on the return trip that leaves Whitefish and returns to Portland at about 10 AM local time. We plan on going next winter to enjoy the winter climate and sports. Plan on spending about $165 - $250 (cleaning fee included) nighlty for a high quality lodging experience.

Everything from the check in to the rooms to the activities were outstanding.
THere were 20 of us and we all thought the same.
THe rooms were wonderful, the underground parking was a plus.
The only complaint that I heard was the roof top hottub needed to be warmer.

Morning Eagle is a fabulouse top of the line accomodations in a supurb location. Ski-in/Ski-out made a great convenient location for all of our family. The grandparents could watch the kids skiing on the slopes and the kid's could come in grab lunch and head back out to the slopes. The interiors were beatifull, well kept and the staff was helpfull, knowledgeable, and so friendly.
