“great place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

My family went there for dinner last night (Thursday), and it was as good as ever. The service was fast and friendly. The food came quick and was hot and tasty. Our waitress did not miss a step on getting more of their delicious garlic bread or filling up our drinks. We had an additional meal to go, which came out at the exact time we were ready to head home. This place is in sharp contract to the Rising Sun Bistro in Kalispell, which has the worst service in the valley.

“Food and staff were excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

Wasn't really in the mood for a sit down heavy meal as we typically prefer the Saloons like Moose's or the Bull Dog, but friends said you have to try it. Wow! We were all blown away at how great the food is here, even the pickiest of the kids all cleaned up their plates! They have a Vodka sauce that is to die for! If you love real Italion food don't deprive yourself of this place! Don't even get me started on the deserts!

“They tried, but obviously the crowd overwhelmed them.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

My wife and I went to Ciao Mambo while on vacation in Whitefish. The line for the restaurant went way out the door. They were able to seat us relatively quickly in this small and somewhat crowded restaurant. The server was friendly and attentive, but the kitchen was obviously overwhelmed. I say that because not only was the food delivery slow, but the meatballs came out cold and when they came back after the first complaint, they were only luke warm. My friend ordered a chicken dish that he said was pretty good, but towards the end, when he looked at the chicken, it was not cooked all the way and was raw in the center. The staff was very apologetic and comped both our individual dinners and our dessert. They certainly responded well to the situation, but poor food prep is poor food prep. Would I go back there if in Whitefish again? I would probably give them another chance just based on their response to the problem.

“One of Whitefish's best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2011

Located about 3 blocks west of the main part of town ( a little off the beaten path) We ate here twice during our one week vacation. We ended up on the upstairs back deck outside both nights - not a great view bot the ioverall experience was very good ! Must share a bowl of the Minestone soup with a friend !
