“Great except for creaking floors”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

The room had pleasant decor on an outdoor theme. It was a large room with a king bed and jacuzzi, two comfortable chairs, a mini-fridge with freezer, a small microwave, and a flatscreen TV. There was little space for luggage and hanging clothes, but plenty of space in drawers. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom space was limited--there was a small, well lit sink area outside of the shower/toilet room. The shower head was good and there was plenty of hot water. The jacuzzi was enjoyable after a long day in the park. The main problem was the awful floor creaking from the room above us, waking me up in the middle of the night and early in the morning. Next time we'll get a room on the top floor. We paid $120 at the end of September and felt that we got a good deal for West Yellowstone. The continental breakfast was mediocre--pancake machine(!), hard-boiled eggs, the usual carbs. Breakfast room was crowded. For pizza be sure to eat at The Gusher, and for ice cream (and bison burgers) no one beats Arrowleaf.

Thank you for staying at our property and for your comments. Late September is a great time of year to visit Yellowstone. We are looking at offering some new items to our breakfast next year to add more variety. Again thanks for your comments

“Perfect Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

We just spent one night at the ClubHouse Inn in West Yellowstone. What a nice stay. I booked our room online and then called a couple of days prior to our stay to confirm our reservations. When we arrived, everything was in order and our check in and check out was swift and accurate. The desk clerks both times were awesome. Our room was spacious and very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the comforters. The only thing we had a little trouble with was there appeared to be a short in the lightswitch to the bathroom making it a little tricky to get it to work, but not a huge issue. The breakfast area was very nice and the attendents were right on top of the game keeping it clean and stocked. The hotel is just a few blocks away from the west entrance to Yellowstone Park, and the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Clean hotel, great location, ample parking, friendly and helpful staff, yep, I'm definately sold on staying here when visiting the area. Highly recommend it.

“If You Can, Stay in the Park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

I booked this hotel in February for our September trip based upon the TA reviews. I initially booked for 3 nights, but switched to a room in the park so we wouldn't be wasting so much time going back and forth to West Yellowstone. First, our GPS (Toyota installed) didn't get us close to the hotel. The people at the desk were friendly. The room was fairly small. It was hard to find room for our 2 big and 2 small suitcases. The king sized bed was comfortable. The room was mostly clean, though there was dust on the lamps and int he corners. These was a blanket in the room- we hate just having a heavy comforter with no alternative. The bathtub and toilet were separated from a very small vanity. The breakfast was very basic and very crowded; the area isn't effieciently arranged. The area is not efficiently arranged. The desk staff was helpful with restaurant ideas. recommendations. Cookie treats at the desk were packaged, not homemade. The hotel has been refurbished, but it's age shows in places. We would not stay here again.

Thank you for staying with us and for your comments. Our single king rooms are our our smallest rooms in regard to size at our facility. Our rooms with two queen beds are larger than the one king and our rooms with two queen beds and a sofa pull out are 13 feet wide by 29 feet long. We are looking at adding some additional items to our breakfast and some extra seating. Thanks for staying with us and I hope you reconsider on your next trip to Yellowstone.

“Not a single complaint”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

We made a last minute decision to visit Yellowstone, and found this little hotel at the West Entrance. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in one of the jacuzzi rooms, and we really enjoyed our stay in this cute little hotel very near the entrance to Yellowstone. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub was great to relax in after a busy day visiting Yellowstone. We did not use the pool or hot tub, so I can't comment on those, but they looked clean and people were enjoying them. The only one thing I would say, and this certainly is not the fault of any staff, but we stayed on the ground level and the room just above us was very loud (kids running around, someone pacing, etc.) so we did hear that early in the morning and until around 10 at night, but that is just the way the hotel is, and not a problem with the staff or the hotel in general. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, always saying hello and smiling. They recommended a restaurant to go to for our anniversary dinner, which was fabulous! Yes, the breakfast room is a bit crowded, but I never had a problem getting something to eat or drink, and didn't have to wait to get to a toaster or whatever for long at all. Seemed to run pretty smoothly despite the crowd, and there was always someone there making sure that everything was filled up (cups, sugars, utensils, etc.). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at Clubhouse Inn and will definitely recommend it to anyone we know visiting Yellowstone. Great job everyone!

“Many nice features”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

The surrounding neighborhood was clean. Yellowstone, gas and restaurants were nearby. Check in was efficient. Our room was clean, modern and spacious with: Heat/AC, refrigerator, microwave and WiFi. They had free breakfast, ample parking, indoor heated pool and whirlpool. Cookies were available. They picked us up from the airport. We would return.

Room Tip: Ground floor was close to pool, exercise center and breakfast.
