We stayed here for 5 nights on a well-anticipated trip to Yellowstone. Have to say that it was great for the price and location. Less than 1 mile from the West entrance of the park and located within walking distance of all of downtown West Yellowstone!!! Breakfast was a little bit limited and chaotic at times, but there was plenty of food for everyone - mostly bagels, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, danishes, etc. I would definitely consider staying here again!!!

We stayed here for three nights in May 2008.

We had reservations for the BW Cross-Winds Motor Inn, however, it was closed for a reception upgrade and we were redirected to this Motel.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us ideas on where to have dinner.

The rooms were clean and generously sized. A basic breakfast was included in the rate, however, at a rate of just over $50 a night we had cash spare to go out for breakfast each morning!

The Motel is located within a short stroll of a good choice of restaurants and shops. We would recommend the Three Bears Restaurant and highly recommend Bullwinkles for dinner. The Outpost Restaurant should be avoided! The Running Bear Pancake House does excellent breakfasts and packed lunches to take into the Park with you.

Compare to other places I stayed, I didn't like this hotel. In yellow stone, I liked lodges inside the park.

Customer service is very poor. Rooms are average. I went with a higher expectation just to find that place is not worth for the money I paid. I could have stayed in a different hotel at this place at a much cheaper price with comparable or better hotel amenities.

Friendly staff was helpful during our two night stay. Room was large with furniture that my wife feels came from the second hand store. Window coverings really bothered her. Sink and very small vanity were outside bathroom in main area. The refrigerator made a high pitched noise whenever it kicked in. Breakfast was marginal at best. Good location allowed easy walking to town and restaurants.
