“nothing special”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2010

We have been there June 2010, and we choose to take a meal with buffalo to try it.
The meat was hard as stone, and not really special.
In fact at the end I eat only the soup of the day.
Not really recommended

“Family Style Restaurant with Generous Portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2010

We received coupons for the breakfast when we checked in and decided to take advantage of them. Our breakfast was good and the price was especially reasonable given the coupons. We ended up having dinner here as well one of the nights we stayed in West Yellowstone. It was good, dependable food.

“If you love Prawns, this is the place for you!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2010

We had explored Yellowstone Park for most the day, so we were hungry. We stopped at two restraurants to inquire if they offered prawns (my husband only orders prawns when we eat out). They both said they were not aware of any place in town that offered prawns. Well I am writing this review to let you know that if you are a prawn lover you will truly enjoy the Three Bear Restaurant. When the menu said Large Prawns we expected the usual butterflied prawns. These prawns looked like mini lobsters. They were extra extra large. And delicious too. We had a GREAT meal and Heidi our waitress did a super job as well. The experience will hold a memory for us both, for years to come!

“Over Cook Meat”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2010

The wife, my mother-in-law and I ordered the St. Louis Baby-Back Ribs(Short-Rack). They were over cook and tasted terrible (wich is an understatment), you couldn't even cut the ribs with a knife between the ribs. We asked to speak with the manager and she would not even come to our table, she just stood by the front door looking towards our table. Also when we order our drinks 2 iced teas and a tonic water, the waiter came back with 3 iced teas and a tonic water. We said we did not order this. He was very rude and told us that we order 4 drinks while we were only 3 customers. The wife and mother in-law were given a refund for the ribs.

“Eat here in West Yellowstone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2010

We ate here on the last night of our three day stay in West Yellowstone. We really should have eaten there all three nights! The service was prompt and the prices were very reasonable ($10-20 for dinner/person). We ate at other places in the area, but never got the same quality of food or prices. The salad bar is a hidden gem- complete with tuna and other protein, in addition to a good selection of greens, veggies and dressings. Burgers were tasty and breakfast was hearty. Additionally, patrons of the Three Bears Lodge get a $2 off/person breakfast coupon. My wife and I had a big pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, OJ, coffee and tea meal for $14 after the coupons. It's a great deal.
