“Great family cabin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We rented the Moose cabin for 3 night while visiting Yellowstone. While our purpose was to see Yellowstone NP for the first time, we were captivated by the little town of West Yellowstone in Montana. Our cabin was cozy, comfortable, and I feel it was fairly priced. We had 2 queen sized beds, a full bathroom, a kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and apartment sized refrigerator. This made eating cereal and heating up Spaghetti-o's perfect for enjoying this area on a budget. Both rooms had cable tv and the front room had a cute little faux wood burning stove. Our rooms warmed up quickly, especially after an early snow overnight. I would definitely stay here again. It was quiet and private, but still close enough to walk to vendor shops and restaurants located in town.

Room Tip: We selected to rent a cabin for a more breathing room, since we were staying more than one night.

We got a good deal when booking this property compared to other hotels in this gateway town to Yellowstone NP and was not sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable and well furnished and felt as though it had the personal touch that you don't always get from chain Hotels. Friendly staff, good value and within easy walking distance to town, plus a good location for Yellowstone NP, makes this an all round good choice that I would use again. If you are looking for full amenities then don't bother, if you want a good value, clean and comfortable room for a good nights sleep before or after a day in Yellowstone, then this is ideal.

This inn has a selection of rooms from cabins, family cabins and queen beds. I stayed in a second floor queen double with a rustic look and patch quilts. room was clean if a little snug. You get what you pay for in this part of the world. Bathroom was very small and only had a shower Yet it had everything we needed fridge microwave and coffee maker additional coffee was available in reception anytime. Stayed three nights at west Yellowstone and enjoyed our visit very much. Location was great only five minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. be aware if you are traveling from the east to west Yellowstone passage through the park will take two and a half hours. without many stops. would maybe go for a cabin next time we visit.

Room Tip: high floor, or if you lick more room go for a cabin. You will need to book well in advance the inn i...

This cabin was so much more than we expected! It's decorated beautifully, and had more than indicated from its website (for example, there's a washer and dryer off the kitchen). Plus, there were tons of dishes (not just the 8 that the maximum occupancy would indicate), so we could hold off on washing them until the dishwasher was full.

It was wonderful to view Yellowstone by day and then come back to a place that felt so welcoming...We had 6 people in the cabin (8 is the limit)—2 from MA, 3 from CO, and 1 from NY —and had such a great time sitting around the kitchen table (which could seat 8) playing games and just visiting. I'd come here again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Don't expect anything outside the cabin—it's a parking lot. But the cabin itself is wonderfu...

Staff was friendly and room had a highly interesting rustic look. Compared to other hotels this one had good value. Large selection of free coffee types throughout the day. Street address is confusing, but when coming from Yellowstone it is on the left side of the main street.

Room Tip: A location in the back is more quiet, then one facing the street.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property and for pointing out that we do offer a good value compared to the other lodging choices in our area. In fact, price is usually the main reason people choose our property. We hope you enjoyed Yellowstone.
