“Best burgers in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Alley makes the best burgers in town. You must have the burger with beets. She also makes meat pies but must get there early or she is sold out. She makes a mean Psycho sauce for the chips and also great sides of potato, macaroni and cole slaw. Fish and chips is good also. I haven't had anything I didn't like there. Ok, I won't eat the mussels. Closed on Sunday and on some Saturdays.

“Love their food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

We went there on the recommendation of our tour guide.
Had their meat pies and some buffalo burgers.
All were delicious!
The owner there recommended some beef burger that came with an egg and beet and it was the BEST!

Gotta try this place when you are in West Yellowstone!

“Needs a Beware of Owner sign out front”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Ok, so I'd read the comments about the owner and thought surely, she couldn't be that bad. Boy, was I wrong. There are 5 tables and a few bar stools available for seating. When we arrived, we took the last table. The waitress was super nice (which gives this restaurant the one star). We were told our food would take about 25 minutes to cook. One hour later, our food was served. In the mean time, the owner began her rant. She was stressed because the restaurant was so busy, but she didn't let anyone else help her with the cooking. F-bombs were flying all over the place. The kitchen area is open to the restaurant so whatever is said in the kitchen is heard by EVERYONE, including small children who were waiting for their food. The owner was swearing and ranting like you wouldn't believe. She then went into her "I don't give a sh*#" diatribe and began turning customers away because "she was done". All our waitress could do was smile and offer us more water and ice. It is my opinion that this owner thrives on her shock value. Pathetic! The burgers (both bison and beef) were just so-so. I do not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty more to choose from.

“Language Timothy!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012 via mobile

Just stopped in here after a long day with the kids in Yellowstone NP. The waitress was helpful and smiley but the ranting, raving and foul language coming from the owner/cook in the kitchen was just unacceptable, especially in front of the children! So we hoped that all would be redeemed by the food - sadly it was not. The fish and chips was average (I'm a Brit - we know how it should be), my fish burger tasted off (and I was frankly too scared to complain) and the burger was just ok too. Won't be back and definitely won't recommend it to anyone.
