Just returned from a wonderful and beautiful trip in Montana.
Our stay at Laughing Horse Lodge was incredible. The service is great and the food is spectacular!
The accomodations were very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and fun.

We stayed again at Laughing Horse on our way to show a visiting relative around Glacier National Park. The price and the food was far better than we could have found in or adjacent to the National Park. We've stayed several times at Laughing Horse and always enjoy our stay and our conversations with the inimitable Kathleen. There's no muss or fuss with our reservation - we just phone and ask if she has space and she saves a room for us.

It's close to Bigfork, but without the Bigfork prices. In our experience, the finest compliment you can pay an innkeeper is to return, and return again - and so we do.

My husband and I were headed to Whitefish, MT for a bike race. We wanted somewhere to stay for two nights before heading to the race that was cozy. The Laughing Horse Lodge was PERFECT! Our dog was in heaven with all the dogs toys. The room was very comfortable and opened up to the courtyard where we were able to enjoy a beer on tap and relax before our dinner. Kathleen was a great cook and host. Upon our arrival we immediately felt comfortable and welcome. Kathleen, thank you for introducing us to your friend Skip. He was very generous and helpful! John enjoyed his bike ride with him. We look forward to our next visit and have shared our experience with everyone!

I stayed here for three nights with my two teenage children. It turned out to be the perfect spot for us, and a great value. Included in the room rate is a fantastic breakfast in the lodge's excellent restaurant. It seems to do a very good local business as well, atestament to the quality of the food. We also had dinner one evening, and were very pleased with our meal. Kathleen is most helpful in recommending local activities and her two charming goldens were our enthusiastic escorts on one local hike. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to return!
