“Nice Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Billings airport to go home after spending a week in Yellowstone. The food was great and the portions were huge. I ordered eggs and sausage and the sausage patty looked like a hamburger and my daughter got a side of ham which was huge. My wife wanted to try the pumkin bread and she loved it. They also ordered french toast which was 3 huge slices of bread. The waitress was very pleasent and quick to fill up your coffee. Loved the place!!

“Unexpected perfection!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

We stopped by for lunch on our way home back East from Yellowstone. It had a great homey feel. It was very nicely maintained. The server was gracious. The food was amazing! The burrito was flavorful and not heavy. The tomato soup was fresh and tangy. The burger and potatoes were delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food. It was the best meal we had our whole 10 day trip! I highly recommend stopping by for a taste!

“EXCELLENT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

The steaks for dinner are excellent. Great service! We stayed next door and at 6 a.m. we went over for coffee and they weren't open yet but seen us outside and invited us on in to sit and have coffee while they got ready to open. Then the breakfast was fantastic! Well priced and large portions! Very nice people!

“Nice b&b at exceptional location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

We stayed here for 3 nights during our recent trip to Yellowstone and we had wonderful experience. The location is the best, just couple of miles form the northeastern entrance and the Lamar Valley, which is called America's Serengeti. The town of Silver Gate is so nice and quiet that I felt it much better than staying inside the park. The cabin was clean and spacious. The bath and toilet is next door and is shared with another cabin. The owner (Jay) and all other staff were very friendly. Their morning breakfast is superb, it comes with bread, hash browns, eggs, trout and fruits, the quantity is so much that even after hiking, we didn't feel hungry till late afternoon. The cabin costs 99$ + tax for 2 people and extra person charge is 25$; so from value wise it's quiet a good deal during the long weekend of July.

“Great restaurant with friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

Really happy to find this gem after a long day hiking in the summer sun in Yellowstone. Generous portions, open relatively late -- we didn't arrive until 9 and left a little after 10 -- and great service. Try the locally caught trout and the pumpkin bread with huckleberry ice cream.
