“A real little gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

During a motorcycle tour of western US from Canada, we were on our way home and stumbled onto this little gem while searching for a some place quick for lunch. The three of us each had the special soup and club sandwich. The soup was hot and excellent and the sandwiches were fresh, tasty and HUGE! The staff were super friendly and celebrating the arrival of a new baby from a staff member's wife. Very fun and family oriented atmosphere.

“Low quality food?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Not sure what the individual who described the food as "low quality" considers to be high quality but anytime I can get large portions with great taste I am very satisfied. And the Old Timer Cafe delivers on this every time. A Seattle bistro it is not and for that I am very grateful.

“Nice folk, low quality food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Had a steak that had a distinctive liver taste. My travel companion said she likes it that way, but I do not. Very nice people though, even the other patrons who were locals.

“Good Cafe, Great Ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

Not a lot of choices in tiny St. Ignatius, but this little old cafe had great ambiance and it turned out the food was pretty good there as well. We ate a breakfast and dinner here. Portions were huge, and the food was well prepared and tasty. Service was good. Lots of colorful local characters coming and going.

“Good local restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

Loved the veggie sandwich on homemade roll. Buffalo fries were interesting.
