“Perhaps Montana's finest small boutique hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This was our second visit to the Kaiser House and our second superb experience. We booked the entire lodging this time for a special family gathering. We wanted a locatoin where we could talk and work together for an afternoon while enjoying a special and historic Montana ambience. The Kaiser House exceeded our expectations in all regards.

One of the really fun parts of our visit this time was that on our arrival my wife and I had the pleasure of showing the rest of our family the guest rooms. Each room offers a unique but equally beautiful setting. You cannot help but be impressed by the tasteful selection of furnishings, qulaity, and attention to detail that went into the rooms. And you will not be suprised when Lynn tells you that the interior of of the lodging was painted by an artist.

We held our family meeting in the breakfast-loung room where we enjoyed the comfortable chairs and access to coffee and snacks. The old brick walls and tasteful decor lent an elegant, high quality feel to the afternoon.

I can say without reservation that the Kaiser House is among the top small boutique hotels and B&B's that we have stayed at anywhere in the world.

We recently stayed at the Kaiser House. We had never stayed in a bed & breakfast hotel before & if other bed & breakfasts are like this we are hooked. We stayed in the "mural room" & it was wonderful! The bedding, furniture & bathtowels were all luxurious. The couple that own it are very friendly & made sure we enjoyed our stay. In the morning we had a nice breakfast in the parlor room.. We left feeling rested & if we are ever in the area again, this will be our choice for accommodations.
Oh, another plus is that they have the nicest gift shop on the first floor.

The Kaiser House is a special place to gather family and friends. We had the entire place to ourselves; fabulous rooms for each of us with the breakfast/lounge as our living room. We had lots of together time that would have been tough to have in a convential motel. We shared food, wine, conversation and card games. Lynn is a consumate hostess and made us feel very welcome with amazing breakfasts. The Kaiser oozes with Charm. We are already talking about a ski trip this winter to meet and go to Discovery Basin. Watch out Lynn...the Monaghan girls may be doing a return act!

My husband and I stayed at Kaiser House for the weekend. The re-modeled building is very well done. Our room was lovely, very clean and quiet. /the bed was very comfortable. We felt like we were in a historic hotel. Lynn was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

The Kaiser House was one of the highlights of our 11 day trip. Totally renovated historic building has all the amenities, including dumb waiter for luggage, high tech air conditioning, and the best mattress I've ever slept on. We had the mural room, it was just lovely, and I loved the balcony and views. An added bonus is the shop on the main floor, also owned by the innkeepers. Check out the wine selection, it is good, and well priced, and handy! Altogether a real jewel in the hills..

Lynn, thank you for a wonderful experience. We wish we could have stayed longer. My husband was so impressed with the fine details you provided in the room to make our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. We stayed in the Chinese room and the lighted "window" mural in the bathroom was beautiful. We will be back when we can head "east" again!!! (By the way, Jean B. says hello)

Room Tip: I believe ANY room you choose, you will be delighted!!
