Certainly the physical surroundings are without comparison in Missoula. The location, the rooms, the quiet and the accommodating staff cannot go without mention. Additionally, a great start to the day is the wonderful homemade breakfast by Meg. Graciously served with a smile and a welcome 'can-do' attitude begins the day on a great note. I have lost track of the number of visits I've had.
PLEASE DONT TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS GEM!

Room Tip: Book early, each room is unique and different, none will be unsatisfactory.

This was our second stay at Goldsmith's Bed and Breakfast. Since a visit 5 years ago, we decided to stay there again on our pass through Missoula. The setting and scenery are as beautiful and serene today as it was in the past. The service was exceptional. We arrived about 25 prior to check-in, and were graciously greeted, even though we got the innkeeper out of the shower!! We were given a key, allowed to check in. Then, we were served breakfast earlier than the normal time since we knew we wanted to be on the road for a long drive ahead that day, Our room was comfortable, cool, clean and spacious. The price was right (better than most chain hotels, and breakfast was included). Wish we would have had one more day to sit and relax on the porch and listen to the river outside our door.

My husband and I stayed at Goldsmith's Inn the last night of a week's vacation in Montana. Our riverfront suite was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The price was similar to the chain hotels we typically stay at but had so much more ambiance! We felt right at home. Jesse was a perfect host, the breakfast was delicious, and we could walk everywhere. This would definitely be our first choice if we revisit Missoula!

Room Tip: The views from the riverfront suites are exceptional.

My husband and I recently stayed the night in the Clark Fork Suite at Goldsmith's B&B. The room was super spacious and the bed...oh the bed, it was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced! There was a wonderful covered porch right outside our room where we were able to watch activity on the Clark Fork during the day and the rain that night. Goldsmith's is conveniently located (walking distance) to downtown Missoula, where we went for dinner. In the morning we were warmly greeted and served a wonderful fresh breakfast. We didn't even have to remind Meg that one was Gluten Free. She was on top of the situation and made the BEST gluten free pancakes. Thank you for the hospitality and we can't wait to come back! We have stayed here in winter and summer and in several of the rooms. We always enjoy ourselves and look forward to a yummy breakfast, It is great fun to sit on the porch on a sunny afternoon and watch folks of all ages floating down the Clark Fork. We plan to return again and again as we travel from the Pacific Northwest to our family summer place in Minnesota.

Stayed at this beautiful B&B the night before my river trip. I booked room number 8 in the attic and it happened to be like 95° that day. I don't know how they did it, but the room was cool when I checked in at 7:30PM! I called and said that I'd probably be late, so they left my keys in the lockbox, Next morning, BEFORE the official start of breafkfast, they had gotten up and left bagels, english muffins, oatmeal and coffee for the marathon runners. Nice porch and patio overlooking the Clark Fork. Wish I had stayed there longer than 1 night! Thanks for the hospitality, Meg!

Monday 7/2/12 checked into the most gorgeous river view from Clark suite with private front porch. Left briefly to pick up lunch only to return to soak up peaceful river view and so content just hanging out either inside/outside room watching river go by. Breakfast was superb with Denver omelet, hash browns & fresh fruit. So very CONTENT, hard to leave room; wish I could bottle this feeling.

Room Tip: Clark suite is the best!!!!!!!!!!
