“Best Western Yellowstone Inn not Best Western Quality!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

I recently stayed at the Best Western Yellowstone Inn located in Livingston, Montana. I have been visiting relatives in Livingston for over 50 years and the Yellowstone in had always been the standard of quality for lodging in Livingston. Well, based on my stay of April 11 and 12, 2014, standards have obviously changed dramatically!! The Best Western Yellowstone Inn is without a doubt the most run down and dirty Best Western I have ever stay in. To add insult to injury, the room rate was 20% higher the the other local national lodging chains available within the blocks of the Yellowstone Inn. This facility does not even come close to the historical standards required to use the Best Western name. My other family members stayed at the local Super 8 and after visiting them at their hotel we were extremely disappointed in the value we received for our money at Best Western. The Super was clean and well maintained and a far better value for the money. Save your money and frustration and stay at Super 8 or Comfort Inn. The Yellowstone Inn should not be allowed to use the Best Western name.

I don't normally write reviews but it was a very nice stay here. The service was great and there wasn't any problems or flaws about the trip or the hotel. Had a good time and stay and it's close to yellowstone so that's also a plus. Waking up to look at the mountainous view was probably the best part. I'd recommend people to stay here.

Money well spent with this hotel. Nice and cozy rooms with coffee in room and flat screen tv. Hot breakfast in the morning. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful regarding restaurants and sightseeing in the area. Our kids loved the heated swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

we had to make a last minute trip to Livingston. I had stayed here over ten years ago and remembered it being nice. We called for a price on our way and it was cheap and they said the rooms had been redone.
Once we got there I found out why. First when you walk in the whole hotel had a very strong curry odor. It was coming from the room next to us apparently they were cooking in the room.
We walked in the room and it was far from redone. I went to shut the curtains and they were nasty with stains all over them, the window was shattered, the carpets were gross, the bed cover had brown stains all over it, we pulled it off and there were toe nail clippings and long brown hairs in the bed. I sat against the head board and my hair stuck to it. It was so dirty we ended up cleaning the room with baby wipes. The towels were all stained up and full of long black hairs, the sink didn't drain and that's just what I remember about the room.
We decided to take advantage of the pool and after we were in it with our child we noticed a black ring around the pool. I looked closer and found dead ants.
If you like warm milk, cereal and bad coffee they do have breakfast.
The one plus is they do have an indoor garage if you don't mind the second hand smoke form their employees smoking in it.
Spend the extra money and go down the road there are several decent clean hotels.

Room Tip: Go some where else.
