“Great quick stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Hotel room was very clean and staff was mostly nice, the breakfast attendant in the morning seemed a bit frustrated but they were remodeling and she was in a small room. Nice quiet hotel, very clean and convenient location. Very clean pool and hot tub. Excellent service.

If you are familiar with the chain, this is a fairly typical Hampton. All of the finishings and furnishings are on the newer side. Our bathroom was immaculately clean. It had the shower and toilet behind the door, and the sink/dressing area just outside. This is the ideal bathroom configuration for us, so that I can spend as much time as I need drying my hair and putting makeup on, while leaving the bathroom free for the rest of the family. There was a nice indoor pool and hot tub, although we did not use it. The breakfast area was nice, and breakfast typical for Hampton; ham/egg bagel toppers, waffles, hot oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar, fruit, pastries, breads, juice, decent coffee, etc. The staff is super friendly, and very accommodating. I am giving it five stars because really, I have nothing to complain about. Just understand that Hampton Inns are not high end hotels; just very nice mid-range hotels.

Booked this place at last minute, as the place we wanted was full. We were very pleased.
Nice location, close to all routes. Close to all shopping.
Staff was friendly, the facilities were great, clean and comfortable. Big pool area for families, nice breakfast, beautiful lobby. We could walk to many interesting places. Would and will book here again. Glad we stumbled upon it.

Room Tip: Maybe ask to be located AWAY from vending/ice machines...... LOL

This hotel was probably some other chain, before it became a Hampton inn, because it is so untypical for a Hampton. It is an overall nice hotel, and I will not knock it for what it does. It does its thing well. It is a little dated, however, and I think that travelers should know this going in. The wifi kinda sucks here too. It works, but is a little slower than ideal. The breakfast area is big, but crowded, but this is definitely a tourist hotel, so you should expect this going in. I have stayed here twice now and on both occasions I thought that the hotel was ok, but just not more than that. I would probably stay here again though, because the other hotels in the area are very pricey.

Thank you for your review on your recent stay with us. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We have always been a Hampton Inn we just have a different look and we are a bit larger than most Hampton Inn's. We are excited to announce that November 2012 we will be remodeling our breakfast area by making it bigger and better as well as our lobby will receive a new look. When the breakfast and lobby are complete we will not stop there our guest rooms will also have a new look, and we hope you will visit us again to see all the wonderful changes we are making for our guests.Sincerely, General Manager Hampton Inn Kalispell, MT

If you are looking for a way to beat the crowds into the glacier park, this town is a good gateway. You would be 45 mins away from the West entrance.

We drove in Missoula airport and arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The hotel staff held our room and had it ready for our arrival. The service could
Have been better with a warm welcome but it was more business like. A clean comfortable bed and a good night's rest later we woke up to a good breakfast choicd of cereals, fruits, boiled eggs, omletes, coffee etc. Perfect for a family or a group especially of you don't want to start looking for breakfast first thing in the morning

If you are in transit and need an over nighter stay here.

I am a fan of Hampton Inns. My husband and I stayed at many last September (2011) on a road trip through New England. This Hampton Inn was as nice as all the rest. My husband and I like that they are all very similar: nice decor, always clean, friendly staff and and a good, quick breakfast. Not much more that you could ask for. A good value for the price.

Room Tip: This hotel is far enough from any main street that you won't hear traffic.

This hotel is at the higher end of Hampton hotels. This is a good thing. If you come expecting a Hampton Inn you will be very happy. The facility is spacious, very clean and well appointed. A very nice gift shop, two seating areas in the lobby, a very nice breakfast room and easy access to most of Kalispell. The staff was friendly and you just felt comfortable the whole time. Breakfast was the usual mid level hotel free breakfast but even that was done well. If your expectations are reasonable ypou will not be disappointed.
