“Decent stpover”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. On arriving and asking if they had rooms we were giving a really friendly greeting. The front desk staff were great as were the girls who cleaned the rooms the next morning. So friendly. It is what it is, a basic motel room and value for money. The coffee is not in the rooms though complimentary is available all day in the breakfast area.

There is, as others say, a strong smoke smell in the lobby & hallways, but our non smoking room did not stink at all. Although definitely in need of updates, the room was very clean. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable & the sheets looked & felt new. We did not go in the pool, but there was lots of kids enjoying it when we looked in. The woman at the desk was very pleasant, friendly & helpful. There is a great little green space at the back of the building with a picnic table & poop bags for your dogs. The breakfast was a nice bonus which included coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, breads, bagels, a toaster, butter & cream cheese. I would stay there again, no problem!

dark, dated, stinky, and sketchy. That would pretty much sum up the entire place. It's one thing to want to save a couple dollars by staying in the cheapest motel in town, but dont cheap out, pick some place a bit more reputable. Until they clean this place up or knock it down, its certainly one to avoid.

My recent stay at the Aero Inn was less than satisfactory. The location is easy to get to, though not close to the main business district. While the hallway smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the room had a different more subtle odor. The room had a dingy feel to it and did not seem clean. It was also poorly lit, which contributed to the bar like appearance. The kitchenette was a joke, the microwave was at least from the early 90’s if not earlier. The carpet had been repaired with duct tape, which fit with its somewhat dirty appearance. The only thing in the entire room which looked remotely new was the television. A rollaway bed was also brought in to accommodate an extra head. The rollaway was rickety and dirty. The bed sheets had some stains and a few hairs. The heat barley worked through the night and some would find it inadequate. As for the breakfast, I would not eat food which come from this place. In terms of value this place is not even competitive with the Motel 6 down the street. I would only recommend this place to the adventurous poor traveler who cannot find a room anywhere else in town.

This dated motel is well cared for and strives to make your stay a comfort. Stayed two weeks and enjoyed the savings and service received. Don't expect a fancy 5 star location. This is just not that. What it is, is an old property well cared for and presented with care from front desk to maids. It was nice to see the owner working every day to keep it up.

This hotel was recommended by my daughters friend. We normally stay at a well known chain but decided to try this hotel. We were very pleased. The check in was a little different because they do not use computers. The desk clerk was very pleasant. The room was nice but simple. There is a TV but no coffee pot or frig. They do however have free coffee and tea in lobby 24/7. The room was clean over all but found hairs on the back of the toilet. This room did not smell of cigarette smoke, which was very nice. My only real complaint was the next morning, the cleaning staff was very noisy.
