“Truly low budget”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

The hotel is truly for those on a shoe string budget. Badly stained and old carpet, sheets so thin you see through them and my top sheet was torn. Thin towels and no hair dryers in rooms. The breakfast (?) was quite inadequate.

Unfortunately, the philosophy of this motel is to charge as much as they can and give the guest the absolute least they can. The motel is older and tired. Our room (which is very small) was designed for one person - one queen bed, one night stand, one light over the bed, one towel bar. The vanity is tiny, though outside the tub/toilet area (which is also very small).
There are NO amenities - no shampoo, no hairdryer, no fridge or microwave, no luggage rack, iron or ironing board - no closet or extra space. They gave us the least amount of towels possible. There were two very small bars of soap - and some weird soap dispenser in the tub and by the vanity - similar to the kind found in rest stops along the highway. We did not use them, as we were unsure that what was in the shower one was suitable for bathing. We asked for shampoo and were told it was 65 cents from the desk.
The bed was comfortable - tho there is some kind of plastic liner under the sheets which makes it crackly when you move, and hot to sleep on.
You can hear the next room showering and flushing - so it is noisy in the am. . but seemed pretty quiet at night.
A small flat screen TV, table with two chairs, dresser (place to put a suitcase) and a desk with chair complete the room.
There are many hotels/motels in the area - and we called the Econo Lodge just down the street - thinking we might move there. They had rooms available - a double queen for the same price. But we had already checked in and figured we would lose $$ if we left due to cancellation policies. So we stayed.
The odd thing is that this motel is booked solid - no vacancy. It seems to be a place the bikers meet - so that may be the reason. It certainly can't be the service or the room!
That said, the desk help was friendly tho slow and confused.
Advice - don't choose this motel. Plan ahead and book somewhere else.

Room Tip: I don't think there is a "good room" at this motel. Our tip is to choose another hotel...

The hotel wasn't that spectacular, but the lady at the registration desk was the sweetest lady. She knew we were heading up to Glacier Park the next morning and she gave us hints on where to stop along our travels into the park. There was a nice hot tub that we enjoyed. The breakfast was minimal, but the staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean!

Front desk gal was friendly and accommodating.
They have corporate rooms for around $37 a nite.
Mixed clientele but not as ghetto as many Motel 6's I've been to.
Backs up to airport so you can watch copters and planes.
Large pet area at rear.
Across the street from coffee house, close to many restaurants.
I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: People smoke near back doors and go in/out frequently, so you might avoid that area if it's an i...

I was passing through for one day and was looking for a budget hotel with a pool to spend one night. At $40/night this was the cheapest option available.

I have to admit, after reading the other reviews I was a little leery, but I thought I'd give it a shot. For starters, I'd say everything in the previous posts is accurate. There's a noticeable smell of smoke entering the hotel. Thankfully this was just in the hallways, not in the rooms. The beds were somewhat hard and did have plastic sheets. It threw my back for a bit of a loop, but I've come to expect that from most places. My only major complaint about the room is the complete lack of soundproofing from the hall. A fairly rowdy group of people were up late and I could hear every word clearly through the door. Luckily, when I asked them to keep it down they were very apologetic and returned to their room.

The pool was nice and big, but uncomfortably cool for me. Didn't slow down the kids in the slightest. The hot tub, advertised at 107 degrees, wasn't even close. It was comfortably hot, but not quite hot enough to ease the achy muscles after the long drive. The sauna, though small, was more than hot enough to get a good sweat up and loosen me up. My biggest complaint here was that the hot tub is out of sight of the pool, so it's not possible to supervise children while soaking.

All-in-all, for the price I paid I can't really complain too much. I certainly wouldn't stay for a whole week, but for one or two nights, I'm happy to put up with the flaws.
