“Didn't have a good experience here!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

We booked ahead and still waited for over half an hour to register and get room keys. Two girls on but terribly slow! It is a strange building, my husband drove around to our room and I tried to walk but couldn't find the room, ended up in their long term rental area and had to walk a long distance back to the desk to be given more vague intructions.......The hot tub wasn't working, we needed more towels and facecloths but they never came. Our room was small. Breakfast is about a mile down disjointed hallways in a dark dingy back room. Smells of stale smoke and booze back there, breakfast was limited, I would suggest skipping the trip there for it! May be reasonably priced but there are lots of places that are, where you actually get some service.

Place was as expected I guess, it is what you pay for (although it was less value from what I did pay). The front desk service sucked and they all need a course in customer service. The room was ok, sink in the besdroom was wierd. Flight check-in on the computer they provided was a joke, I was told to email the confirmation to my email then to their email at reservations...never worked and was an inconvenience. There are better places to stay in Kalispell, it was a bad weekend to book there and it was all I could reserve unfortunately.

We stayed at The Outlaw Hotel the night of September 12th, we booked online and checked in around 10 after we had eaten dinner and visited Glacier National Park. My girlfriend read the reviews and was pretty terrified of what we were going to be encountering, but I can assure you, though there is some truth to the reviews, overall the place was adequate for the price. The WiFi worked just fine, bathrooms, beds & rooms were very clean. Breakfast, although a confusing walk, was everything you would expect from a comparable hotel. What really made our stay was the front desk clerk that night, Kristen, her witty comments made the check-in process a joy. She also seemed to handle the mountain of complaints from difficult guests, while we checked in, with a sense of ease. Overall it's a clean, safe place to stay if you get it at the right price, and a great staff tops it all off. If you are heading to Glacier and want to stay in a town this hotel is a great option. By the way, I never saw a strip club next door, so I'm not sure where that review came from?

While on motorcycle trip we spent two nights at the Outlaw. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is old and needs some remodeling. But the rooms were comfortable and clean. Many great restaurants within walking distance.

My husband and I stayed there over a week - we got a great deal on a suite on the top floor! Had housekeeping every day, the room was very spacious and quiet. They have very nice swimming pool and hot tub, which was empty of people most of the time. The GM had a terrific attitude and so did the front desk staff. We had a blast!!

We stayed one night and had a two bed bedroom.
It's about a mile 1/2 outside of down town Kalispell, but right close to a restaurant, a strip club (if your into that), and gas stations.
The room was a very old style; early '50 to late '60's. The room was very out of date and seemed as though it had just kind of been thrown together. I feel as thought the room would look better if they had kept the Brick walls; vs painting them white, and would have done more western style rooms. Just to kind of go with a theme of the name.
The pillows were horrendus, either over filled, under filled or patchy.
The mattresses were far to worn out, over used/abused, and incredibly uneaven. <-This was our greatest problem.
Head boards seemed as though someone who stayed before us had some fun with them and that they were just barely hanging onto the wall.
They had a tube Tv in the room tucked into a huge Tv Cabitnet that wouldnt stay open (we ended up holding the doors open with a chair and the lampshade)
The Bathroom was in need of some repair and needs to be a little more stylish. It was difficult to regulate the water temperature; someone somewhere would flush or run a tap, and you would be burned or frozen.
The sink area was dim and again needs to be updated, it looked as though they attempted to make it more stylish and then just gave up.
Breakfast was your average continental breakfast, but hours just were far to early.
Value was pretty good.

Considering that most others " fancy" hotels are over $200 a night this place is clean and appointed enough for the cost. Yes it could use some TLC. But then it would be $300 a night. Just some dredging up would be good. Only complaint the shower curtain a bit smelly. Other than that slept good, wasn't eaten by bed bugs or raped and robbed in the night! ( LOL).
