“Great Historical and Aesthetic Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

The Conrad Mansion is a great snapshot into the history of Kalispell and the family that first inhabited the mansion, and those that followed. The home and it's artifacts are both beautiful and interesting - the staff does a great job with keeping the tour engaging.

“Always enjoyable!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

I have taken the Mansion tour 3 times wiith different tour guides and learned something new about the history of Kalispell, the Conrad family and Montana, each time. I love antiques so to see a house full of beautiful period furniture and other lovely pieces is very enjoyable to me. We attended an August wedding on the Mansion lawn and enjoyed walking around the grounds looking at all the flowers, plants and trees. The grounds aren't spectacular but for the budget the Mansion operates on it is still very nice and makes a wonderful wedding venue. All in all this a worth while stop and a nice way to spend an hour or two in Kalispell.

“very nice grounds”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

lots of very nice plants and trees most labeled so you know what you're looking at. the house itself is dark but full of artifacts. worth an hour or so. we enjoyed just slowly driving up and down the local streets so very nice styled homes. not mansions just people's homes.

“A must-see in Kalispell!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

We were initially wavering on whether we wanted to spend the time/money on a guided tour of the Conrad Mansion, but boy were we glad we did! It was the highlight of our trip to northern Montana!! The mansion is stunning and its history is extremely interesting. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic. Apart from providing us with very thorough information on every aspect of the mansion, she had all sorts of entertaining side-stories about the Conrads, Kalispell, and life in general during the late 1800s/early 1900s. A guided tour of the Conrad Mansion is definitely worth doing, and is a must for anyone interested in the history of the area, antiques or heritage buildings! And the $10 entry fee is very fair and absolutely worthwhile once you see the house that it is helping to preserve!
