“Quite a tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

I don't always tour historic homes, but this was a real classic. My tour guide was excellent and I was amazed by the many "before their time" innovations used in the building of this fabulous home. Not pretentious, but beautiful! A good way to spend a couple of hours in Kalispell.

“Must See if you like history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

The house is virtually all original, thanks to Conrad's wife, who was a packrat and saved everything (even receipts!). This is a great tour of a pre-1900 mansion, with a nice staff telling all of the history behind each room. It's a well spent couple of hours.

“Grand Home in Kalispell”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

The Conrad Mansion is a beautiful home filled with lovely antiques. Even my 7 year-old son was able to remain engaged by the interesting objects. It was a bit of a "furniture tour" -- as a non-native, I would have preferred more insight to the actual history of the Conrads and their impact on the development of Kalispell.

“Hidden Gem in Kallispell.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

We just made it to a tour which took 1 1/2 hours but did not seem like it. Our tour guide was very lively and had great extra triva to impart since she had worked at one point with Conrad's daughter. It is a beautiful home filled with gorgeous antiques. Nice history lesson of the founder of Kallispell.

“A snapshot from another century -”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

The Conrad Mansion gives travelers insight into another century through this well preserved home. They had one of the first indoor drinking fountains, cooled by a block of ice and at Christmas time they still decorate one of the most beautiful, indoor Christmas trees I have ever seen. It is a great sight to add when visiting, it completes the perspective.
