A great place to stay for a family! This place is close to Glacier National Park. It makes a great base camp for boating, hiking, and fishing excursions -- or to just hangout with family. Their property featured a playground and grass area for sports and also picnic benches. The pool was inside a separate building. If needed, there are pay laundry machines and free ice on site. They also provided donuts and coffee/juice in the mornings. Daily change-over service unless you don't want them to. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our family needs. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Room: We had 2 queen beds on opposite sides of the room. Air conditioning was a box in the wall, but it worked well. The bed spreads and carpet looked kind of dated, but they were just fine since we were just sleeping in there at night. Bathroom had a toilet, sink/mirror, shower/tub--no vanity though. We had a microwave and TV/Satellite receiver inside the room, but not a fridge (bring an ice chest and you are fine). Well worth the price though compared to everything else in the area! We stayed 6 nights and it saved us about $300-$600 compared to other places I had been looking up prior to coming here.
Attractions nearby: Glacier National Park West Entrance, Hungry Horse Dam/Reservoir (Motel owner also has a boat for rent if you want), Amazing Fun Center, River Rafting, Helicopter Rides. Whitefish is 45 minutes away (worth a day of your time to go there).
Food: Small cafe's and diners around. There was one about a mile to the east attached to a Sinclair fuel station that made a great breakfast. We also ate at a steakhouse in Coram, which was a good place for a burger (steak and fish wasn't worth the money though). For fast food, there's an A&W to the west a few miles. There's also a small super market about 3/4 a mile to the east which has everything you could need for food.
